We liked the very friendly staff and the cooked breakfast. Easy parking and close to the town centre. It should be noted that if you take the walk into town it is a very step slope. Nice quiet location.
Mattress was a little soft for me but still had a good sleep.

Breakfast was excellent. Easy check-in. Great location. Comfortable room and bed. Excellent shower and towels etc
Temperature control was lacking. Found the room hot and stuffy due to high humidity during our stay. Had a very warm duvet but only needed a sheet. We addressed it by opening a window which cooled the space but with no screens it allows bugs into room. Our room was clean overall but needs a little more attention to details. A few bugs / webs in recesses but generally good considering age of the room

5 minute walk to harbour & restaurants. Easy parking. Great room with harbour view. Very good breakfast

Lavender Cottage clean and had comfy beds. The bedroom area was spacious.
Our room was advertised as superior with sea views . It fell short of this. The room was not part of the main building, instead a converted building in the garden. Whilst there was a sea view it was only partial. The main concern was the significant smell of damp which prevented us from enjoying the room. The TV was similar to a small pc monitor and only had a few BBC channels. The bathroom was tiny with an ill fitting sliding door that didn't provide complete privacy.
Breakfast had to be ordered the day before with just two hot choices. Failure to pre order meant that a hot breakfast would not be available. Also, breakfast was advertised between 8am and 10am, but in fact there were two sittings, 8am and 8.45am.
