The view during diner and breakfast at Duart Castle.

The hotel was in a superb position, and the view from our room was marvellous.
Although we went to breakfast before 8.00 the food appeared to have been prepared much earlier and the food was dry and luke warm.
My wife has coeliac disease and had made this known when booking. There was no cereal suitable and when she asked for bread, she was given a dry bread roll. she does not eat English breakfast and was left hungry.
As above.
The price of an overnight stay was expensive and should have been a special stay. This was below expectations .

Great location, nice old building. Interesting history. Comfortable room with lovely view.
The staff were unhelpful and rude. Not interested in solving any issues we encountered.
Also, don’t expect to have a leisurely Sunday as breakfast ends promptly at 9:30am. This isn’t communicated in their correspondance.
