Staff friendly, nice view, room was clean. Close to Oban for the ferry the next day

Really charming, traditional and cozy hotel. Staff very kind and helpful. Room large very comfy with great views. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the meal was delicious
The breakfast was only average, which after such a nice dinner I was a bit surprised by. It was acceptable just nothing more

Location of hotel was good.

The room was not exactly quiet, as the party walls in the room are pretty thin and the ‘neighbours’ we had were vocally loud all night and had their TV on very loud. There was a constant tapping throughout the night. It wasn’t the best or relaxing sleep for had.
The toilet seat was loose and needs tightening up as it was slipping and sliding when you sat on it.
The shower pressure was poor and this was despite having a shower at a non busy time when most would have one. It would be very hot or very cold throughout showering.
The sink is cracked and the whole room dated.
The carpet in the stairway is in need of replacing as it is badly worn.
This is a three star hotel but from our experience in our room, it would only just make that and that was due to the friendly staff.
