Lovely location, the other lodges are not too close like on other sites. Site is very well maintained.
Prompt response to my queries and good communication with the on site management. Asked for steps for my husband to access the hot tub and they were available the same day of asking.
The lodge was clean, with nice tv and access to WiFi.
Furniture obviously from previous visitors had lots of stains, likely when people have sat down wet from the hot tub.
Booked for 5 adults, a little small would suit a family of 4 better.
Only 4 chairs for dining inside and 4 chairs outside so ending up booking the restaurant to have a family meal at a table. The meal was alright not as good as I expected from previous reviews.
We had an issue with the oven but were able to utilise other parts of the cooker.
Great amount of cutlery and crockery limited pots, pans and no baking trays, we ended up buying cheap ones to have pizza on one of our nights.
We reported a wasp nest on leaving the site. During our visit we had thought that the noise was from the hot tub as it was at the same side.
Outside chairs need up dating as rust present on the backs of all the chairs.

Always like coming to the resort my grandchildren loved the hot tub. The staff were extremely helpful and kind we loved using the park for the little ones and great walks for our dog.
The lodge didn't live upto my expectations, previous lodges were far better and for less money. None of the blinds worked so I had to make them secure myself, laminate was missing of the work tops and various drawers, the place was clean but felt dirty because if the carpet it needs replacing. Overall disappointed with lodge 30 but we will be back but certainly won't be looking to hire that particular one.

Location of lodge 14 was good. Close to reception and restaurant. Well equipped overall.
Oven didn't work and main bathroom light flickered on & off like you were having a disco. This wasn't great when you have children that thought they were going to be in the dark when having a shower.
Faults were reported and Joanne Russell replied within minutes to say someone be round soon to take a look, someone arrived a few hours later, however the chap couldn't fix the oven or the light and said someone else would be along within 10 to 15 minutes. Checked out 2 days later and still no one came to fix the problems.
We have now been emailed to say there was staining on the sofa and they are going to charge us, I can assure we had all furnishings covered with blankets as we had our dog with us.
If you decide to book with this company please be sure to take photos of all furnishings so this doesn't happen to you.
