The staff was helpful and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. My room was great. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices. The location was excellent. Walking distance to Plaça Catalunya where you can catch every type of transportation you may need.
I traveled during a heat wave and found the hotel was not well air conditioned. From the moment I walked out of my room the humidity could be felt in the hallway and worse yet was the heat in the elevator.

Small single room as expected, but it had a balcony :) .
It had everything I needed. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful. Location was perfect - right by the Gothic Quarter, and handy for the metro.
It was baking hot in Barcelona when I was there, and the AC in the room wasn't the most efficient, possibly as I was on the top floor. It was OK, but only OK.
