Great hotel to stay at - clean, comfortable, roomy. Close to Paseo Montejo which is a must in Merida.

Overall this was a pleasant experience. The “front desk” staff was outstanding and the location is good. The housekeeping staff was top notch. Our room was perfect every time we returned.
I wish the room had a refrigerator. It’s tough to not have any way to cool food or drinks. The balcony we had was very small - no room to sit down, and barely enough to stand.

- the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable
- cleanliness is an issue, e.g., hair from prior guests were found in the shower, the staff didn’t bother when I friendly indicated while leaving the property for dinner. In general, sanitary equipment was in bad shape
- the elevator was not working, needed to carry the family’s luggage when leaving, by the heat and humidity, I was ready for a shower when done
- the staff at breakfast was some confused, nice but asking back everything repeatedly, it seemed it took for ever
