Casa da Beira Mar is a very cozy and typical house with a garden that has a direct access to the sea, located on the north shore of the island. It is only 10 / 15m from the main town (Ponta Delgada) and the largest beach of the north coast, and 5m walking to a complex of natural swimming pools on the sea.
It is an eco and family friendly house (equipped with a baby crib and a baby high chair for eating, at your request), ideal for those who look for a joyful stay near the sea and nature.

A very cool place to lay your head for a few evenings. Old world charm on the ocean with easy access to all corners of the island and airport. The home came equipped with everything needed for an extended stay (an extra beach towel or two would have been an asset). I was travelling with my two university aged kids, the only downside being the smaller mattress in the loft was a bit thin and didn’t provide the best sleep. All in all I’d recommend this location in a heartbeat, and would be eager to stay again. The owner was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. The fresh fruit and local bread was a welcome surprise when we checked in.

We loved our stay here. The house has a lot of character (which we loved) and the views from the top floor and the cliff walk are AMAZING. The house was very clean, and there was a good supply of towels and bedding. There are some good restaurants a short drive away, a large grocery store, and you can walk along the path into the center of town and take a dip in the natural pool there! The only tricky things were the spiral staircase (could be difficult for some, but there is a bedroom and the bathroom downstairs) and the parking spot along the roadway is tight but manageable. Overall, we’d highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something outside a sterile hotel experience. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location and the property was very comfortable for our needs. It was nice to stay in a traditional home rather than a hotel. The host was wonderful as well!
