Located in Seaside, this attractive house for $395 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. We are located in the hillside with a beautiful view of Monterey bay. Completely renovated beach house with an ideal backyard for evening dinners, or just relaxing in the sun! Smell the salty air. This is comfort home away from home with one Cal. king bed and two queen beds, two flat screen smart televisions, upgraded kitchen with blue pearl granite counters and appliances, full bathroom, with washer/dryer, garage with remote access, and landscaped front/rear yards. Come to relax, enjoy our house near the sand and surf, where you are welcomed any time of the year!

We had an excellent 3 night stay here, with 4 adults and two teens. The house was very comfortable and nicely provisioned, with plenty of seating, a giant comfortable couch where all 6 of us could fit with room to spare, comfortable beds, and a great outdoor space with a fire pit (that came pre-setup with firewood ready to go, all we had to do was light it!). The two bathrooms were large and spacious, with really nice showers. I don't recall it being mentioned in the listing, but there's also a large garage space that had foosball and an air hockey table, which my kids loved. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything you need, with a nice range of cookware, and the knives were actually sharp (which is a rarity in rentals).
While there's not too much to within walking distance of the house, there's a TON to do within a short drive. Don't focus your time entirely on Monterey, Pacific Grove, or Carmel, Seaside itself has some nice places to eat and shop at too.
One of the nice things about this place is that it's family owned, and not run by a vacation rental corporation. We met the cleaners on our way out, one of whom was the niece of the owner, and she told us a bit about the house and owners.
Overall, we were all very happy with the house, amenities, and communication process. We would recommend this property to friends and family, and would absolutely love to stay here again on our next visit.

Great home in a great location. The house is very well stocked and was easy to call home for a week. The house does carry sound pretty heavily, so if you have small children or groups of people, it’s just something to be aware of. Great stay though and we’d easily come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the back porch when coming home from sight seeing. Did not expect no A/C however, it was not a big issue except one day when it was unseasonably hot. We would stay here again!

This house was great in photos but somehow even better in person! The decorations were so beachy and cute! The house was perfect for our stay myself, my husband and my in-laws as we were in town for a wedding. It had everything we needed. Thank you!

Location was a great home base to go north to Santa Cruz or south to Montrtey, etc. House was great and had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time there but had all the conveniences and more! Would definitely stay again.

The area is very nice and convenient. My family and I had a great time. The house is pretty nice. A few ants were on the kitchen counter, but not big deal. We sanitized the counter and wiped them away and no more again. We had no complain until the very end. Minutes after we checked out. My son realized he forgot his airpods in the house. So we drove back to get it. While I was waiting for him I noticed a hidden camera in the old car with a flat tire that had been always parking there forever. We were not happy about that. After reading another review about hidden cameras in the house, I exclusively asked the owner about any cameras a few days before arriving. I was told there was one in the living room that we could disable it upon arrival. We did that. But never thought the owner would put another one in a disabled car without disclosing it.

Had an catering event at the River Road Mansion in Salinas. Rented this property cause it was close to my clients event. Spacious & bright inside with a nice view of the water from the back balcony! And most the beds were comfortable!

Such a beautiful house and in a great location near all major things such as Monterey and Carmel. Our family was able to unwind and they have a beautiful deck to enjoy outdoors.

It’s a very thoughtfully decorated home with nice ocean themed touches to the interiors . We enjoyed our weekend stay here , relaxing , cooking and gathering . Very close to the beach and 17 mile drive / whale watching cruises . Nice hiking areas close by . Overall a very satisfying experience.

The house was very comfortable, clean and we'll equipped with many items unexpected like a refrigerator filled with food and beverages. The owner Bobby was extremely attentive when we had a hot water problem, fixed within an hour. We'd certainly recommend this home and if in the area again we'd love to stay there.

This Seaside Beauty was a real beauty inside and out! The house is fresh and clean right when you walk in the front door! The kitchen was very functional and kindly stocked with snacks and more. The living space was great and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Our group used the outside patio a lot and enjoyed the outdoor heater for the chilly nights. My only recommendation would be to have tv with cable in each of the three bedrooms. Thank you for a pleasant stay! We hope to return next year!

This house is very lovely, clean and came with all the comforts of home. The neighbor even stopped by on our arrival to welcome us to enjoy our visit. We enjoyed the kitchen and the extras provided to us in the fridge and snack drawer. We enjoyed the patio with heater and fire pit one evening. My kids loved the sheets of all things, they commented that they want those sheets for their beds at home!

We spent the Thanksgiving Holiday with family and a new baby! The property was located in a quiet neighborhood in Seaside just minutes from the ocean. The house was very clean and furnished with many amenities. Bobby was very attentive and communications went well. Also Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea, and Big Sur were short drives away. Had a great time and would recommend the property.

Our family get-away to Monterey was made easy staying at this property. We enjoyed and appreciated the well supplied and comfortable house for cooking and relaxing, while exploring the area's beautiful beaches, trails, and Aquarium. The owners graciously supplied a few extras in the kitchen, such as snacks and beverages and were very accommodating to our requests. We would definitely stay here again.
The reason for four stars instead of five was the scented air fresheners in every room. The perfumed air made it unpleasant for those of us with allergies, and the rest did not appreciate the rather strong scents. Once we moved the fresheners to the garage and opened the windows, we were able to fully enjoy the house.

We really enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean house and beautifully decorated. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. It was such a treat for our kids to be able to pick a snack from the snack drawer each morning. We also really appreciated the breakfast basics. Always nice to not have to go to the store on arrival. Appreciated the beer, wine and beverages as well. We would stay here again!

We had a very relaxing stay during the New Years weekend. The house is very clean, well maintained and has all the necessary modern facilities. We relaxed on the patio in the mornings, saw the fireworks at night,and watched movies in the great room.
The bed rooms are very tastefully done with the beach theme running all across the house. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels and bed linens.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a very well stocked refrigerator for everything we needed for a quick breakfast and some quick bites. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and would definitely come back whenever we are in Monterey.

I am still amazed by our recent stay in Monterey. The home was absolutely beautiful, spotless and accommodating. Bobby makes sure that you have everything you could ever need while staying at his home. He stocks his fridge and cabinets with food items to get you through a few days and even leaves a few bottles of wine. Our favorite part of the house was the outside patio and fire pit. It was an extremely relaxing stay and I would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a great trip to Monterey! The house was very nice and clean. The owners hospitality was great by having some snacks, drinks and foods available if we needed. It is located up on a hill in a modest neighborhood overlooking the bay. The neighbors were very nice. Local stores are not really within walking distance unless your're a hard core walker. It is a very short drive to stores and to Fisherman's Wharf.
Considering all aspects of the house, location and price I would give it a good value. I could not give it a full 5 star rating due to the fact we found a monitoring camera inside the house when we were leaving. I found it a bit disturbing that it was not disclosed and was not obviously displayed(visually very small). I noted it to the owner and he apologized for not disclosing it. I hope he will update the sight soon. We to have a vacation rental also and I would love to have cameras around so I completely understand the need.
