this small , privately run hotel is full of charm. you therefore have to have an open mind to the quirks of an old hotel with an ancient vine (200 )yrs old in its own courtyard in the very heart of this incredible town. Worth noting too that the receptionists, there are three in rotation, i only met two reflect the very heart of this place; passionate, charming, educated and beautiful. there is a sense of magic in this place. go there.

What a gem of a hotel. Set in the centre of Vézelay in a beautiful historic building nicely modernised to meet current expectations. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. We really enjoyed our one night stay.

Beautiful property and lovely setting
My room was very tiny and up in the eaves so could not practice yoga, felt a little claustrophobic for me but otherwise well equipped l.
