Arrived a couple of hours early and it wasn’t a problem at all .
Room was fabulous- huge bed , very comfortable.
Bathroom with lovely old enamel bath a great shower .
Also had fridge and good coffee making facilities.
Very dog friendly - inc also in the Resturant .
Great dog walks around and secure parking .
Fabulous food at the Resturant .
Lovely picnic basked outside my door full of yummy breakfast things which I could eat anywhere in the grounds .

Great property, quirky rooms and fabulous dinner and bar. Quite pricey but v quiet this time of year. Breakfast is delivered in a picnic box outside your room each morning. Staff were excellent and the property unusual but classy.
Not a huge amount to do in the vicinity but who cares just chill! TV has no streaming or satellite and at this level of hotel is a little disappointing.

The room was very comfortable.
The grounds were extremely tired and there was a lot of dog poo, even next to our extremely tired sunloungers.
There was also a local party which started at 10pm and ended at 5am which was very loud. We had not been pre warned about this party and, although we were invited, with two young children, that wasn’t realistic. The children were kept awake until the early hours of the morning which meant we were too. The manager was so hungover the next morning she couldn’t deal with our check out and suggested we just leave and she would deal directly with booking.com for payment.
