Front desk person was great! Super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I found hair in one of the towels and on a pillowcase. It’s off of a busy street and sounded like cars were racing most of the night. Plus there was a group of teenagers, I think staying for basketball. They were running up and down the hall, knocking on doors and yelling at each other in the hallway. It was after 2am before I fell asleep. It’s also not in the best or safest area. When we arrived, it was evident someone’s car window had been smashed by all the glass on the cement.

Really frustrating that there’s a sliding door where you can either use the closet or the bathroom, but you can’t go in and out of the bathroom and get into your closet at the same time. Also, very strange that there’s no lock on the bathroom door. Pretty uncomfortable for a family needing to use the toilet but no way to lock the door when you are. Also, no hot water the entire 48 hour stay and no one at the front desk cared to figure out why. For being smoke free, the hallways were thick with pot smoke

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk was friendly. The room was clean but the linen had a very strong bleach like smell. It made it extremely uncomfortable to lay in the bed and use due to the strong smell. Also the bathroom would not stay shut which was also uncomfortable since there was more than one person in the room

Friendly, helpful staff, including the kitchen workers. Hot breakfast everyday, including eggs, potatoes, waffles, excellent coffee. No non-dairy milks, so that was a negative. Clean, open eating space with many tables and views of Mt Rainier. Beautiful lobby art. Gym includes elliptical, two treadmills, free weights and machine weight system. Water cooler did not work, however. Overall, I strongly recommend.

2 things stood out, the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. And the executive Rm was Kaye’s out nice for 4 people.(weren’t sleeping next to the other bed. But the rooms were noisy, from thumping noises, to walking, to a swim team pounding on a door across the hall from Rm 231 at 1AM or later.

Always stay here. Always happy but this time the card key didn’t work to begin with, then when I got in the room the heater wouldn’t work. Finally, 20 minutes after first checking in I was in a room where everything was good and in working order.

Super loud at night. No housekeeping. Room sink was clogged, low water pressure. I won’t stay here again but I’m more picky than the avg person.

I would have given a higher review but after I checked in I left my room for an hour at most and when I came back, my bag was gone and the shower was used. Apparently they double booked my room and someone had used it before they even realized. Supposedly it was a “computer issue” but that’s just unacceptable. I booked this room with plenty of time so they need to fix that. Other than that the experience was okay, I would not come back though.

I checked in on Thursday at 2 pm and TV had no remote plus all the cables of the tv were off. Told front desk my issue and left. Came back at 8 pm, nothing was done. Next day moved to another room with tv but heater was broken. Slept with my coat on. All next day didn't get fixed and last day got moved to my third room in one weekend stay. I was told general manager will call me on Monday but NO CALL! of course. I really can't say it was a good stay at this hotel. Front desk people were nice and embarrassed by this situation. I felt bad for them.

Pulled out one of the night stands to plug in phone and it was really dirty (bottle cap, loose m&ms on floor, LOTS of dust) so I would recommend doing a deep clean everyone once in a while? Otherwise, great rooms and excellent staff.

Marijuana being smoked in rooms, and with large groups of people out front. Finally had to check out early when “a pump” quit working and there was no hot water. On our second day of no hot water we left but we weren’t given any refunds only that we won’t be charged for the day we left at 9am. We won’t be staying again

Our room was lovely. We had so much space in the Executive room option with two beds. I wish there had been daily room service. We had to hunt down a tissue box as our room had a single tissue left in it. Never replaced the coffee or cups. I gave up hunting since they have coffee and tea in the lobby all day. Breakfast could use a bit of variety from day to day. My biggest issue (and only real gripe) was that the quiet hours were not enforced. (And our room was at the top of the open loft stairs on 2nd floor. Lovely design, bad for sound.) After two hours of listening to some very loud, very happy people laughing waking me every few minutes I finally called the front desk. The fan white noise and a pillow over my head had not been sufficient. Weird thing was that the people then moved outside and got in their cars. This was after midnight. Maybe they were friends of staff? Hate to break up fun, but quiet hours exist for a reason. This was our second 3 night stay. First time was on the 3rd floor and it was much quieter even being across from the elevator! Be sure to get a room away from the open stairs on the 2nd floor!

Usually stay here for work related lodging needs. This time we found roaches. Staff was friendly and changed rooms for us. Hoping this was a random one off. Wasn’t looking for the West LA street roach experience.

Used to be my go-to hotel whenever I visited my family. Mainly because of Convenient location. This time, I thought I was at motel 6. On first night, there was a wild couple staying down the hall making extremely obscene noises. Good thing I didn’t travel with my son. I walked out of room for an hour.

The price is right. The location is walkable to lots of establishments. My kids loved the fact that it’s right across the park. The parking lot is a little tight for big vehicles. We booked 2 rooms and I just didn’t expect that I have to ask for basic toiletry needs (toothpaste) that normally comes with the booked room to most hotels/motels. The staffs are great, very friendly and very accommodating. The free breakfast is the best. Will definitely book again.

Well-run hotel with an excellent breakfast, flawless housekeeping, comfy beds and convenient to restaurants, shopping and getting around. Only very slight complaint is that 323 is overly warm - heat coming from the floor in the bathroom. Would open a window next time.

The phone didn't work in the room. The AC wall thermostat didn't work. other than that it was a good stay. The concession prices were very very very high. To the point it just didn't make sense to buy anything.

Location is very close to many amenties, restuatrant, shopping. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Morning coffee and breakfast were plentiful and an assortment of options. Chairs, tables and lounge area were comfortable. They were welcoming of my pet. There were plantey of grassy areas to walk my dog. My main issue was the room. We stayed in the presidental suite - so the room size was comfortable. However, the walls are thin and we were woken up by noise in the hallways and the cleaning of the room next to us. The elevator and ice maker were also loud and we could here them through the walls. The heater did not work, nor did the coffee maker. The pillows were mismatched and worn out; the bed was semi-comfortable. There were not enough blankets and pillows for the sofa bed.The carpet in the room is in need of replacement.

Very nice property in a convenient location. Only one minor annoyance, a truck outside our bedroom window playing loud music early in the morning for about a half hour. It was nothing to do with the resort itself and I’m sure if I called the staff they would have resolved the issue.

Our stay at this La Quinta was disappointing at best. Upon our arrival we were greeted and checked in by a nice lady at the front desk that offered water - this was the highlight of our stay. Our family of 5 arrived early evening so that we could take advantage of the swimming pool that was advertised on, and priced into, the listing. We could see that the pool was in use from our room. We all put our swimsuits on and went down to the lobby to find the entrance to the pool. We found the entrance to the pool and were physically blocked by a rude lady (not an employee) that informed us that the pool was rented for a "private party" and that we couldn't use it. We went back to the lobby and a lady behind the desk told us the pool was closed for the season. I mumbled that it would be appropriate to not list a pool and hot tub as an amenity if they are not available to guests. The more irritating issue to me is that the pool was, in fact, in use (by a large group of people) who, apparently, weren't even staying at the hotel. We planned our evening around using the pool and ended up stuck in our room with not much to do. When we got ready for bed we found my son's hide a bed with a bare (dirty) mattress and no bedding in the room. This place was highly disappointing and not worth the money - I recommend going elsewhere. We inquired about pool rentals in the morning at the employee at the front desk and she told us they NEVER rent the pool out. :\

This property is ok, although the location, staff, and shopping/food options are great! It’s a worn hotel with attempts to update/spruce up. There is a smell in the building that’s uncomfortable…a cross between smoke and food. I think if there was better air circulation it would have made the stay better.

Clean, modern LaQuinta. Located in huge shopping area (blocks of big name stores) with lots of restaurant options. Building and decor appeared to be newer. Beds were comfortable. Microwave and mini fridge in room with typical chain hotel free breakfast. It served the purpose well.

Room smelled kind of funny, but the staff was super nice. They charged me an extra $100 deposit for my stay after I had already paid for the room, and told me it would be refunded when I checked out, but I still haven’t been refunded.
