The Rosedale is a great hotel -- very well cared for, quiet, with friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and the proximity to many activities and events in Vancouver makes it ideal for visitors.

Our stay was wonderful, from check-in to check-out. I had added a note to my reservation saying that my daughter was celebrating her 10th birthday. The front desk staff wished her a happy birthday and let her pick a surprise from the treasure chest, and then we went up to our room to find a gift basket and hand written birthday card! She was so surprised and felt so special. Thank you! The room was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well kept. Every staff member we encountered was helpful, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to stay again!

I've stayed at this property many times and always enjoyed it, however the fellow that was on the desk during my check in was dismissive, would not make eye contact, was not at all friendly and is not suited to a position in the hospitality industry. I am retired hotel GM and I was really disappointed.

Very nice hotel near the train station. Another surprising sight near by was the main library, Vancouver lookout, and the stadiums. The hotel was so nice in that it was a suite and we could stretch out. And the lovely bottle of wine.

Good location close to Yaletown, Skytrain, restaurants and not far from China Town and waterfront. Gothams Steak House and Fanny Bay Oysters are a short walk away, further towards Coal Harbour is Cardero's, three of my favourite restaurants.

We were in town for just one night but we will be back for sure. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. The views from our corner room were amazing and the room was very clean. There were so many shops and restaurants within walking distance so the location is great as well.

My 2nd stay here. Large suites with the most comfortable beds. I was so pleased with the front desk for the one hour early check-in. Carpets, fridge, oven, dishes, bathtub all in excellent and clean condition. There will be another stay here in my future.

The cleaner did not clean my room very well this time, I was on the 17th floor. Garbage was not removed, the amenities were not replaced in the bathroom (mouthwash/shampoo) and overall the cleaning service was not up to the usual standard. The concierge team are outstanding. The front desk did not inform me that I could stay in the same room so I packed up, moved my bags out and then rechecked back into the same room. That was annoying. They did apologize for the inconvenience. I was pleased that I could stay in the same room so I do thank thenk for arranging that.

i thought that the suite was a bit dated but still nice the staff where friendly and helpful I thought there was only a couple issues with our stay. the pool temperature was freezing the key cards didn't work that they gave us and other people had that same issue as well the breakfast that they offer is only for certain guests not for everyone

Bed was next to a wall that had the fan/heater in it - would turn of, turn on with a bang then shake and be noisy til it turned off again. The glasses had crusted stuff in them, the coffee cup I almost used had coffee stuff in the bottom. I switched rooms when I first got there - had food set up, and tv turned out to be black and white with bad reception. I switched to the room with loud air con unit. Food from downstairs had hard fries, like old hard and inedible. VIP service: a bottle of red or white - I don't drink so they offered a couple cans of pop. Took the white wine for cooking. Also two chocolates came with the wine. Giving it a generous 3 overall.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. The hotel employees were friendly and attentive. Daily room rate was reasonable. Added bonus was the little kitchenette that allowed you to store and prepare food if you wanted.

The staff was amazing, kudos to them. The valet was very helpful as we had an oversized vehilce and he helped us out. The fan in the bathroom would NOT turn off, so it ran all night. My Wife didnt get a good night sleep.unfortunately

The rooms and kitchen is quite old and tiny. Its not spacious enough. They don’t provide robs, slippers etc. in the room. Cleanliness was okay.

Great location for concerts or sporting events. Unfortunately woken up in the morning with load noise from room about and then noticed water coming through the ceiling. Talked to the front desk and they didn’t seem to bothered about it and said they would let maintenance know. No concern for our stay or offer to compensate.
