Our room was exceptionally clean and CUTE!!! We loved the art deco over the bed. The room had everything we needed. Microwave, coffee maker,blow dryer and extra pillows & blankets. There was so much to see and do! We had a wonderful stay and got to enjoy all the amenities. Definitely would recommend. Plenty of parking and bike rentals.

The room and hotel overall are great...very comfy beds.
One thing....the hotel cleaning crew in the morning was soooo loud. Their walkie talkies were going off in the hallway on their cart which was right by my door. And there were chatting it up in the hallways. This is what I woke up to. It was 8:30am on a Sunday morning and I just thought that was not fair - I finally had a day to sleep in and the room was nice and comfy and dark...and bam...maids and walkie talkies woke me up. It would be nice if this wasn't how others were also woken up.

Our family of 6 stayed for a long weekend, having 3 separate rooms. We loved the fact that the hotel had it's own restaurant, which made our first night there very convenient to grab dinner after a long day of driving. The outdoor "play area" was great! We had the whole area to ourselves while enjoying afternoon Sunday football on the outside tv and playing the games that were there. Jenga was a huge hit! We even ended up picking up dinner, bringing it back and eating outside. We did have an issue with one of the room's keys not working. The inconvenience continued to our 2nd day/night as well, before finally getting fixed for the remainder of our stay. Because of the hassle, we were credited (not charged) for our parking fee which was very nice. All in all, we all had a great time in SLO and our stay at The Wayfarer.
