Weekend visit with the family. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Great location right on Main Street with plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Do not use for concerts!!! We were not allowed to check in until after 7, when we already left for concert. We drove over 3 hr and had to get ready in lobby. They refused to comp room bc we booked thru hotels.com.

Only issue was when I called for airport to hotel shuttle service they said there was none. Should be taken off amenities list.

Our check in was supposed to be at 4:00 as there was ZachBryan concert at 7. We waited 2 1/2 hours and ended up getting a room with one king bed as it was the only room clean and ready after a long drive and being late to a concert, where we pais thousands of dollars for tickets. The one thing that I will say, is that they compted breakfast and valet. It was an overall prepsosterous evening and I would have never expected this from a high caliber hotel such as the Hyatt.

Hyatt Regency was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect. We were in the heart of downtown Greenville and could walk to the Arena.
I would definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel.

When we arrived Hesham helped us withour bags, was courteous great with answering any questions we needed answered. Willing to help us whenever we needed help. Housekeeping was excellent. We asked for service everyday and it was delivered graciously. The restaurant the Roost was our restanurant of choice for every meal. Food was delicious and the staff excellent. There was a Starbucks in the hotel which was so co venient for our morning coffee. We plan to stay again next year.

Pay extra for Main St or Panoramic View room. It’s well worth the upcharge. Hotel is bustling with activity. Room service is available and the Starbucks on site was a bonus for morning coffee, although Hyatt did provide a mini single serve coffee brewer and free coffee pods and Twinings tea. Modern furnishings. Large flat screen tv. Parking garage right next door $7 per day and second floor direct access to the hotel was convenient. Area is super clean for downtown. Walk down to river and use the walking trails. Beautiful area for a stay.

everything was good but the bed. I am a member of Hyatt Vacation club and love the hotel brand in general. This location had an uncomfortable bed, and itchy sheets. I'm 6'0 and was too tall for the bed. Unusual for a hotel and a Hyatt especially.

This is our favorite hotel to stay in when we visit Greenville. This time we had to ask for service because we had no hot water. We called the front desk she said someone is on the way. An hour later no one we called again and the guy came up ran the water said the sink was ok he would send someone for the tub. Another hour nothing. I visited the front desk (very helpful) they offered another room which we took while moving the second maintenance guy showed up. The room was similar to our first room but the beds were more firm and pillows terrible this stay in both rooms.

It was clean and in a great location for exploring downtown Greenville. However, the thermostat did not seem to work or couldnt maintain the temp we set it for. Also, the air in there is so dry it felt like our bodies were literally being drained of all moisture. We were also woken up by barking dogs. Its a nice facility but we definitely did not leave well rested.

We very much enjoy this hotel. It is always a nice, enjoyable time.
The check-in process and experience this go-around was less than impressive. Staff appeared rushed and less than helpful when presented with questions.
Overall, I would rate this hotel wonderful; however, the service was disappointing.

The receptionist was rude and was not welcoming. The breakfast didn’t have much variety. No pancake or waffle. They were not cleverly labeled. I asked what they were to the lady, she rudely told me what they were.

I am absolutely appalled that we paid over $250.00 PER NIGHT for what we received. Firstly, and most important, there was some growth (mold or mildew) on the shower wall in several places where the shower accessories shelf hangs on the wall. Disgusting. I don't know what material the sheets are made of, but they are so LOUD when you move; so I woke my husband up getting out of bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Then, I woke him up AGAIN closing the bathroom doors as they are SO SQUEAKY (they need to be oiled!), and then yet AGAIN when I flushed the toilet; I don't believe I have ever heard a toilet flush SO LOUDLY..Then I woke him up again opening the bathroom doors exiting the bathroom.

The location was great. I’ve stayed in this location before and it was beautiful. I decided to book a night at the Hyatt because I wanted to treat my daughter to an extra special stay. I was disappointed in the current condition of the hotel. I noticed peeling paint, mold in the shower, and a strong chlorine smell in the lobby.

The hotel was very nice, we’ve stayed here before. I only have small problem with our hotel room. There’s a light that comes on when you open the door to the room. It’s evidently motion sensor type thing. It also goes off when you are walking around the room in the middle of the night. It’s a very bright light, and takes a long time to turn back off. It’s annoying to people when they’re trying to sleep I was not able to find a way to disable this feature. We only stayed one night, so it wasn’t worth asking the front desk about it .

Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and polite. It was so refreshing to see people smiling. Lunch/dinner options were a beautiful place with indoor outdoor dining and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Greenville, SC

The stay was ok; but disappointed based on room condition. I expect more from 4 & 5 star hotels. (1) Several TV channels did not work. Appeared the tv could not get the proper signal. So most channels did not work. (2) Booked a room with a King size bed, I got 2 queen beds. (3) Bathroom was very small and bathroom door (barn door) did not close and we (my husband & I, as he was trying to help me close the doors securely) were locked in the bathroom unable to get the door to unlock for several minutes. Finally between the two of us, with me squeezing the doors together and him turning the lock we were able to unlock the doors (please don’t try this if you have nails ladies). I immediately called the front desk after we finally got out of the bathroom and the engineer quickly came. He worked on the doors for a few minutes but admitted the doors were faulty and to ‘be careful’ locking them. Unfortunately, once the doors were somewhat working, they did not provide much sound privacy. Awful design for a hotel bathroom door. I wouldn’t recommend barn doors for a hotel room bathroom in a small room…ever!
However, throughout all of this, the hotel staff was courteous, professional and responded quickly to my requests.

For a hotel of this caliber and cost, I would expect a shower with better water pressure. The water pressure was terrible and the water didn’t get hot enough!
Also some better amenities in the room overall. It was a nice getaway but won’t book a room here next time we are in downtown Greenville!
