We did a lot of research before selecting this hotel. Hotels in downtown Portland can really be hit or miss. We were pleasantly surprised by the Crowne Plaza. It was recently updated, clean, quiet. It had the lowest parking price ($25/day). Our son enjoyed the pool. We didn’t eat at the restaurant. The ballroom/banquet areas looked very nice. There was a lovely outdoor fire pit/seating area but it wasn’t open due to weather. Staff was nice enough. We were able to walk for food and to the Moda Center. Our room looked over a “safe rest village.” The neighborhood wasn’t the cleanest but that’s a big city. We felt safe enough walking around. Glad we chose this place. We’d stay again.

I felt like the majority of the staff were very friendly and cared about the guests. The hotel was clean and the rooms looked nice. The hotel is walking distance to the Moda Center, which was good to me since I went to two NBA Blazers games. The hotel has parking outside and easy to access elevators. I liked that the rooms had a microwave, small refrigerator and an easy to use safe. I want to thank staff members Tatiana, Randee, Zach, Brian and Marlin for making my stay more enjoyable. Marlin even took the time to help me with my rent a car heating system when it was the weather was "freezing rain" and there was snow and ice on the roads. I will stay at this hotel when I come back to Portland in the future.

We stay at this hotel for events at the Oregon Convention Center. The staff is fabulous and a main reason we keep coming back. Steven at the front desk is super helpful and always goes out of his way to take care of our needs. In the restaurant/bar, Dylan and Michelle are the best! They make great drinks, get your food orders in a timely manner, and are friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant is fabulous, nothing disappoints from all the items we have had. We love the mussels, shrimp tacos, wedge salad, vegan eggplant Parmesan with Polenta and the Portland Rose cocktail. The rooms are nice, beds are comfy. The pool area is nice and good sized pool and hot tub. Definitely our go to hotel for convention visits. Would 10/10 recommend.

I found cleaning supplies left in my room and the shower curtain left on the sink. Called the front desk to let them know. asked if the curtain was clean and if i should hang it because I was exhausted from working at the hospital all day and needed to shower. Being I was trapped there by the snow was really needing to shower. The said that it was clean and that I could hang it and that they would compensate me for the issue. I was never compensated.

Maids came in the room two different times while we were sleeping. Both times happened prior to 9am checkout was 11am. We gave up on sleeping and went home.

Convenient parking, walking distance of Convention Center. We had an issue in our assigned room with sounds from our plumbing and drainage smell from the shower, was immediately assigned a new room. Great staff service!

The only concern i had upon arrival was the “homeless pods” located right next to the properties parking lot, so be aware of that. But we had no issues. Very quick and easy check in. The hotel restaurant was great. Really good food and drinks.

This property is a little run down with limited amenities (no pay per view or connected TV options, no mini bar, etc.), and the service was overwhelmed as it was a game night and they were understaffed. Still it was clean, quiet, and close to the stadium.

The staff was friendly, and eager to assist with our needs. The room was clean and tidy. Nice spread for breakfast; lunch/dinner menu has delicious options to satisfy any appetite. Really short walk to/from Moda Center is a plus. Couldn't ask for a better stay. Smiles all around!

The only issue was that I couldn’t understand the desk clerk because his accent was so heavy. I still don’t know half of what he said, but he was very nice. The hotel was clean, very secure, and quiet.

Stephen at the front desk was super helpful finding me the perfect room. The hot tub was hot and the jets were strong. Pay for the city view if you can. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The kcup coffee was convenient and tasty. If it was warmer, I would have loved sitting outside in the little couryard.

We were in town for the Justin Bieber concert at the Moda center. The hotel was perfect located for an easy walk to the Moda Center. I highly recommend and will be staying here again in the future! This location was clean, safe, staff was super nice, and parking was easy.

First off when checking in I’m told good luck finding a parking space in our lot so you might just wanna go ahead and park on the street, I manage to find a spot to park and then I’m told to get back in line to get a parking pass (after standing in line again it took 15 seconds to right my room # on a paper) absolutely unprofessional in my opinion for the amount I paid to stay there and then I’m told it’s an additional $25 to park 😡. So what was supposed to be around $235 ended up being over $300. The staff that worked the little store around 11pm on the 18th didn’t seem to know how to answer any questions when asked what time they closed, she simply turned the sign around to us and never said a word.
