I was told that the stay was canceled by the hotel but I was not notified in any way. I booked this reservation for some friends and they were lucky to have found other accommodations at such a busy time (the eclipse). Despite having to pay twice as much, they were happy to not have to stay at this hotel. They said it did not feel safe.

Pros: Clean rooms Cons: Mattresses need replacement worn out (bad dips) Side entry door kept slamming waking us up. Towels were not picked up from floor and replaced with new ones. Pictures of breakfast on website needs to be removed if it is not provided.

There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was no breakfasts even though it was advertised. The hallways were tile and the sound carried and echoed everytime a door opened and closed. No elevators. The shampoo was opened and half used, not new.

Well, I’ll try to be relatively calm about it, but I’m still waiting for the management to refund my money for the night I didn’t use. Our room was extremely disgusting. Blood stains on the mattresses, sheets, light switches, etc. broke window on the first floor so didn’t feel safe, the shower and bathroom was dusty and gross, burn holes in the comforter, and overall just noisy and loud in the hallways and very echoing. Tons of construction outside the building so it was muddy and bad. We didn’t want to stay another night so we asked to be relocated to another hotel. I’ll remove my review when I get my money refunded for the night we didn’t use.

Pros: Relatively cheap. Cons: Very noisy; room smelled of old cigarettes; no room service in 2 days; dirty towel; sink fixture loose; broken furniture. Summary: Be prepared as you almost get what you've paid for.

Complementary breakfast which was part of the reason that this hotel was booked was no longer offered. They had a piece of tape covering the sign for "Complementary." Extremely noisy all night long, more than just normal hotel noise. The hallways look like you are in a mental hospital. I never saw house-keeping. Had to call the desk to get the Wi-Fi password and they were vocally annoyed that they had to get it to me. The room was not cleaned well. The upside was the room was quite large. Would not recommend it, would not book it again.

Very noisy. Initial room didn’t have a working lock to get in . Took a long time to sort it out. No breakfast as advertised. Construction everywhere which made it hard to get to

The property was gravel and dirt and appeared to be under construction. The Motel is nice, however, the staff seems to be only two people possibly husband and wife. It was noisy, someone was drilling in the neighboring room. I was not allowed to have extra towels and before I could get any towels I had to walk all the way back to my room and gather the used towels and walked them all the way back to the wife. I've never had this experience before. Racism or?

Person in check in seemed like he was in a rush poor communication, then cleaning ladies seemed like they love to judge the people staying there making faces at the guest and gossiping. The beds where definitely not clean you can see the mold in the showers would not stay there again.

My recent two-night stay at this hotel proved to be an unfortunate and regrettable choice. Despite my initial skepticism towards the negative reviews, I soon discovered that they were indeed accurate. From the moment I settled into my room, which happened to be conveniently located near the front desk, the relentless noise permeated the walls, impeding my much-needed rest. The late hours were plagued by a cacophony of maintenance and management activities, with loud bangs and conversations echoing through the corridors, jolting me awake at every hour. While the hotel's online description promised a complimentary breakfast, my hopes were quickly dashed upon arrival. Instead of the advertised 'complimentary hot breakfast,' a sign greeted me, revealing that the hot breakfast option had been abruptly discontinued. To my dismay, I received a meager offering consisting of a Jimmy John's breakfast sandwich and a bag of mini muffins. This stark contrast between expectation and reality left me feeling deceived, as the provided food fell far short of what was promised and what I had paid for. Even more disheartening was the lack of hospitality and courtesy demonstrated by the staff. The only available seating area in the breakfast room was promptly cleared while my family and I were still engaged in conversation, creating an uncomfortable rush to finish our meal. I had to get my mom a place to stay after we loaded her truck and she reported back that the lady was super nice in helping her get a room. When i called she was super sweet and was able to get her downstairs as well as needed. My mom reported back that the room was clean, the bed was huge, and really got her rested for the next day

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. The first stay was my first time in Texas, and the experience was adequate. After 10 months, I recently stayed here a second - and final - time. Hotel conditions were run down, some staff members were unfriendly, elevator still not functional, breakfast was mediocre, and they ran out of clean face towels (which were rough and uncomfortable as well). Worst of all, sound traveled very easily throughout the hallways. The only positives I can mention are the quality of the room and the internet speed. If you can book elsewhere, please look elsewhere.

Checked in room located on 2nd floor. I requested a room close to the elevator. NO ELEVATOR! Not on Web-site. The King room I reserved did not come with a closet!!! What??? I requested to be moved to a room with a closet on the first floor due to a broken foot as I was staying 3 nights They said I would be charged $15 extra each night for a closet. They said that’s the way there standard rooms come without a closet! Never again!!!

When we went to check in at 4 pm, they were still cleaning our room. We mentioned that the check-in time for their hotel was 3 pm, then how come the room was not ready until 4 pm. They baldly mentioned that their cleaning lady came late, so our room was still getting cleaned. The sheets had a little bit of dirt on them, and was worn out in places. The breakfast was very meagre. Didn’t even have butter or cream cheese for toast.

It seemed like they attempted to remodel but our room had two burned out lights, the deadbolt was broken, and bathtub took forever to drain. When I took a shower the water ended up calf deep. I tried to ask the front desk about it and either he didn't understand or didn't care to help. The room did smell musty when we first arrived but cleared up after we turned the AC on.
