all good. steps up to reception hard if u have heavy luggage. would have been good to have had a water fountain. everyone helpful. internal restaurant so-so. don’t get the shriveled supposed sea bass. it’s not good. i complained. they dropped cost. breakfast buffet good . easy to get cabs to/from. not much to see re walking around. i’d stay again for sure .

Delightful Boutique Hotel group (walkable and safe) with several other sister-options throughout the city. I had a delicious meal at Masa, a restaurant in their other hotel called The Major with a rooftop view of the Basilica. Everyone was so helpful and the food at the Cross Hotel was simple but fresh, delicious and affordable. I didn't do the breakfast buffet option but it looked good and again, very reasonable at 10E. Impeccable service and cleanliness. I would stay there again, when in Rome. ;)

This hotel is contemporary and spotlessly clean everywhere. The reception staff and the porter that showed me to my room were friendly and professional. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the quality of the food. My room was small as I expected but clean and tidy with a good shower pressure and shampoo and soap. The Aircon worked well and there were enough hangers in the closet. Although near the road after around 10pm I didn't hear any traffic noise at all.
There is always room for improvement and a kettle and tea and coffee would be nice but was lacking. My only mild complaint is that I purposely booked a double room as I like to sleep on a double or king-size bed. However the bed was two single mattresses pushed together with a double sheet over them. This did impact my sleep somewhat but everything else was good so didn't take a star off. But it does need sorting as it is something you only usually see at seaside holiday hotels these days. All in all a good hotel and not too expensive for Rome with a good price/quality ratio.
