Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bonham! The staff were all excellent, very attentive, polite and helpful. The room was lovely, clean and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself is in a great location, within a 10 minute walk of the bottom of Princes Street. I would definitely stay here again

Clean, cute and chic. I enjoyed my stay but I wouldn’t class the hotel as 5 stars — maybe 4.5 stars. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. I loved the decor of the hotel. My tv didn’t work throughout my stay and not much effort was made to fix it. Loved the free snacks in the room. Shower wasn’t great.

Stayed in room 3, the noise from above was terrible right up until midnight.

This hotel is one of one in Edinburgh and puts all Hilton and Marriott offerings to absolute shame.

One of my favourite hotels in Edinburgh. The Bonham is always exceptional whenever I stay from the arrival, you’re always made to feel so welcome. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless and the staff are organised beyond efficiency. The rooms have everything you need and the extras make the stay even more special. The dining and bar facilities are always wonderful and the staff on hand to help with anything. I cannot recommend the Bonhan enough.

Beautiful hotel in the Scottish style. Very cozy and plush, but also stylish. Good location in a quite neighborhood, but still close to all major attractions. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and implacable rooms. Beautiful Christmas decor.

Just back from an absolutely superb weekend at the Bonham. Everything was absolutely first class, the hotel and room was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great! Lovely comfortable bar too!

This hotel is a gem. The combination of the original architecture ( not built as a hotel) and the private ownership of the hotel (not a chain) result in a feeling of beauty, attentiveness and relaxation. The staff were all excellent- quite helpful. I highly recommend the Bonham on your stay to Edinburgh.

The staff were wonderful, very accommodating, beautiful rooms, views and elegant. A must stay or try for breakfast. So glad I booked the Bonham hotel for my trip.

The Bonham hotel was pure joy from beginning to end. Everything was on point, clean, friendly, and tastefully done. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place. Truly gorgeous!

Great central spot. Clean and comfy. The staff was very accommodating. Easy to walk the city from this hotel.

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with a decent amount of space. The hotel was quiet and the staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast is top notch. There is something for everyone and staff are super eager to cater to allergies and special diets. The hotel is beautifully designed for an authentic experience that compliments the city.

Staff and hotel were excellent

Our room was in the hotel basement. Subterranean. Classified as a Garden View Superior King, we were astonished if not stupefied to discover that our room was below street level — allowing us to see pedestrians’ legs close up. What’s more, the bathroom would only accommodate one adult at a time — and the closet space was so minuscule that we couldn’t unpack. The room safe was inconveniently located on a high shelf in the closet, which we couldn’t reach without a chair. We paid approximately USD 500 for the room, fortunately for one night only. The room bore absolutely no resemblance to the garden view rooms showcased on their website. We felt utterly deceived. There was even a maintenance guy literally working right outside our window while we were getting dressed. I am a Japanese national and made the reservation in my name and I can only deduce that the hotel, as they allocated the superior kings from best to worst, gave us the basement — after all, “I’ll not complain”……but I did. To no avail. The front desk staff were at best ambivalent, at worst condescending. We never heard from the manager and there was no effort to recover. Nothing. The only other alternative room was a SUITE by paying a signifucant difference.

The Bonham Hotel is really beautiful, and we loved the quiet location, away from all the noise and crowds. All of the common areas, the artwork and the furniture are exceptionally nice. If we had not been so busy visiting various tourist attractions, it would have been great to just relax and read in the beautiful library. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was quiet and comfortable. The Nespresso machine was an added benefit that we used every morning. We will definitely stay here if we return to Edinburgh.

Such a beautiful hotel with old charm but all the amenities you need. The rooms were unusually large for a hotel in the UK. The location was very convenient to walk in Edinburgh . Highly recommend!!!

The staff are so friendly from the first step inside the building and everyone thereafter. The food was delicious and the ambiance is spot on. The room was clean and beautiful. We were sad to only have 1 night there and cannot recommend it enough.

Fantastic job done by all the staff at bonhams !! My stay was perfect from start to finish. Especially Lucasz at the reception who was knowledgeable, kind and patient. The view from 310 was stunning and the location is ideal.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Had a problem with a noisy air conditioner the first nights but taken care of the next night.

The Bonham is a nice place. Just a tad further away from the Royal Mile than I’d prefer, but still within walking distance.

Loved this property. Our checkin wasn't until 3pm and we arrived at 8am and they allowed us to check in early and rest. The view was amazing, the hotel was very clean and within walking distance of everything

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bonham Hotel. We wish we could have stayed longer at the hotel to enjoy it more. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The location was quiet but really close to the touristy areas. They had umbrellas in the room and at the door. They had a great bath/shower with amenities. We enjoyed the nespresso machine. We only had breakfast there one day, but it was good. We had no issues with parking as well.

Amazingly comfortable. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always helpful. It is a great building with impeccable decor. The location is in a lovely neighborhood that is close to most things. It lacks some amenities and could use better places to put toiletries and clothing. I will be back.
