The staff are very friendly and the room was a good size. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and hard working and the room was refreshed with clean towels and tea when requested. The bed linen is of good quality and the bed was comfortable. Lots of choice for the breakfast with a wide selection to choose from. When we stayed it was busy with guests, restaurant staff were helpful and the buffet style breakfast was constantly re stocked and tables were quickly cleared for the next diners.
I was asked to pay in full at check in (maybe that's the protocol now?) however, a note was pushed under the room door on the morning of our check out, saying I hadn't paid and needed to settle asap. The mistake was admitted by staff at the check in/out desk (having shown the transaction on my CC) and I was given gratis parking.

Location close to public transportation. 24 hour reception.
Hotel is very dated and stuffy… Elevator was broken and the one that was working was very slow. Window in room could only open a little, not enough to air the room. The room was expensive for what was offered.

Breakfast area was messy, dirt on the floor and rooms were old and very few of the Breakfast staff were pleasant. Floor corridors were smelly.
