The swimming pool is the jewell in this hotel's crown.
The rooms are basic but spacious, some with views over the garden areas.
The staff are very friendly and always willing to ensure that all guests are happy with their stay.
Breakfast is good with a variety of continental and cooked foods available.
There is an additional cost for breakfast for those who book on a room only basis. A service charge is also levied for service provided at meal times.
The hotel is dog friendly and is ideally situated for walking into Lyndhurst. There is ample free parking with charging points for electric vehicles.

Breakfast service was a little chaotic due to the numbers of residents eating in one sitting, with only 3 members of staff on duty. The selection and quality of food however was very good.
The staff are always busy but extremely approachable and will always help if there is an issue. The rooms are clean, a little basic but comfortable. The swimming pool is very good and a huge asset to the hotel. The hotel is ideally suited for walking into the town of Lyndhurst, just a few minutes walk away. Free parking with electric charging points available.

Very Dog friendly, great staff, competitive pricing, rooms are a little tired, but good value.
