Staff was nice. Room was adequate. Problem was they charged me an $18.72 resort fee that wasn't on the page plus they could not explain to me what it was.

Overall the stay was nice, a bit outdated. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to call the front desk when the phones are super old.

Other then the demonstrators at 6:30 every morning banging drums and horns and chanting for the Sheraton next door it was grest

Checking in was fine, gentlemen helping were polite and friendly. The room was just ok, sheets had visible stains and were ripped. Bathroom corners had dirt in them. There was some sewer odor as well.

Convenient location, super friendly staff the only bad thing was the air conditioning vents were dusty, look like a fur 😂 but other than that loved the place

Stayed for a family Disney trip at one of the suites. We used the pull out bed which was pretty bad. You could feel the metal springs on it. Restroom was not cleaned thoroughly. When showering, the water would become really cold out of no where and then warm/hot again. The convenience of it being walking distance from the parks was nice though. Also the price we paid for a 3-day stay was reasonable. But next time I’ll stay elsewhere due to the comfort especially after a long tiring day at the parks.

Very nice stay. The hotel started messaging me days prior to my stay for any accommodations needed and they were great. The location is perfect for families and so glad i found this location. Will definitely stay here again.

Rooms were dirty all kinds of dust in the ac vents! Mold in the bathroom and also no parking! Paid for parking and had to park in another hotels parking smh also charged me all kinds of hidden fees and basically coated $10 more than my deposit

This place was meh. No breakfast, full parking, outdated bathroom, mold, and just kind of a really worn-in place. It is clean, though, so there is that.

Checked me into the wrong room, front desk was confused, reserved family suite and checked me into double queen, big mess. Bathroom was gross, carpeting nasty, doors between the two rooms were broke, AC was cold in kids room but not in main room. Called for more towels and took over an hour. Refrigerator didn’t work properly so don’t count on bringing food because it wouldn’t stay cold.

The check in was quick, we slept comfortably and peacefully, the guests pay attention to the rules of not making noise, the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent

Room smelled and at night sewer gas throughout, drains clogged, blood spots on wall, mold on corners and bath tub, fresh towels had stains on them.
This cannot be a Disney good neighbor resort

I was a little worried after I read all the reviews on line , I went ahead and gave it a shot !! And it was great ! It was clean it was quiet !!! So close to Disney!! Rooms were sooo big !!! Loved it we loved it !!! Will def stay again next time !!!

In terms of location to Disneyland, this hotel is good. In terms of service, this hotel is the worst, when I checked recently, the hotel staffs told me that the room will be serviced every 3 days, however, the room never got serviced. On the 3rd day, I had to go to reception to ask for fresh towers, coffees and paper cups for coffees. AC is another issue, it is winter in LA but the AC is constantly blowing cold air instead of warm air, regardless of the AC temperature setting, the AC will maintain the cold air as 17 degree C or 66 degree F, I have to turn the AC off, they only fixed the AC on my second last day, I am not alone there are other guests who faced the same issues as me. The hair drier did not work either, I had to buy a hair drier myself to dry my hair. This is a disaster, it ruined my vacation completely, I am very disappointed that Expedia failed to check out the hotel status before ads this hotel on Expedia's web site.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful. I enjoyed how much space my family had in the family suite. There was a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room that made it easy to have a quick breakfast before heading out. The room was a bit dated but generally clean, and was fine for us since we were only sleeping and showering there.

Our room was dirty and gross smelled of urine and had mold. When we complained they did move us promptly which we appreciated.

Traveling with my family and it was our first time at IKEA. We loved it!! Swedish food was delicious!

Over all the stay was ok! It does need an update. Renovation would be nice. Hotel is in a perfect location. Rooms look old and worn out. Electrical outlets need to be replaced.

Check in was easy & the customer service was great. The parking lot is rather small & tight spaces. Our room was clean and looked nicely. The patio was a nice surprise because we had booked this room last minute and were just looking for a bed for the night. The mattress was firm and the pillows were very soft in density. We ended up doubling up the pillows because we favor more firm pillows. Loved the location, just a 15 minute walk from Disney. CVS, Walgreens and Garden Walk were just steps away. Overall we think this hotel was great.

I liked how clean the lobby smelled, and I wish the parking was a little bit better. Overall, I would stay again, because of how close it is o the Toy Story parking lot.

It wasn’t horrible. I told friends that I would not go back again unless I absolutely had no other choice.
Check-in was a little bit long. They only have one person at any given time. Parking is very limited. If you don’t find a spot near the hotel, then you have to go to a structure in the back which is not far but when it’s raining, it feels far. We had issues with the AC unit. My family and I had three rooms. One room was hot/humid and the other two were cold. I was woken up by a loud buzzing sound at 2am one night. We heard it on the evening we checked in and reported it. We thought it was fixed, but it came back the next night. We tried this hotel, because it was walking distance to Disneyland. We all agreed that we learned our lesson and would be staying at our usual place.

The front desk staff was friendly, the family suite was spacious and the cleaning staff was approachable and helpful. Our only complaint was several springs were missing on the sofa bed. Luckily we had kids sleeping on it so it wasn’t a huge deal. It would have been terribly uncomfortable had an adult needed to sleep on it. Please spend some money to get those sofa beds replaced.

The staff was wonderful. The room was tidy and had everything you'd expect for a stay at this price point. The inclusion of one space for parking is a definite plus. The only negative component, which was out of control fo the staff, is a neighboring hotel is experiencing a staff strike and every morning begins with dozens of people yelling and beating drums and blowing horns all morning. It is impossible to ignore and not hear. My room was on the side facing this mess and since the hotel was booked solid, they couldn't move us farther from the noise. Additionally, nothing was offered to compensate our incovenience. This will keep me from booking here gain until the strike is resolved, which has been going on for over 4 months now. They should disclose this before they continue to allow people to book their stays.

We had to change rooms twice. The first room they assigned us already had another family in it. The second room smelled like smoke and the trash hadn’t been taken out and there was hair in the sinks. I know this could have all just been bad luck in our party but it still was not a good experience. The room we finally ended up staying in was empty and clean. The beds were uncomfortably hard. It is very close to the Disneyland parking lot so we could just walk there and get on a bus. It is also about two blocks from Disneyland so you could also walk.

10 min walk to a Disneyland Park. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed option large room. But even better is the price! On the same strip as other hotels that are priced 4x higher and offering the same amenities, the Portofino is an excellent choice for your stay!
