Paid extra to have “bay view” and was told it was dry season so we didn’t have much of a bay view. Also, their website pictures are misleading as the water looks blue but the water in fact is brown. If you want to get in the ocean, you need to drive almost 2 hrs. The price for that trip is $200 dollars. The hotel was clean but was disappointed that the pictures were misleading.

It is beautiful hotel in Panama city, beds are comfortable and nice view of city . It is close to restaurants and shops, kind & welcoming staff has delicious food able to accommodate if vegan or have allergies . Beautiful pool great view of downtown and relaxing spa to unwind enjoyed the massages . Highly recommend.

Hotel is well keep clean, from you check in until you reach the rooms, there is mo balcony but the view was amazing, there was a very large windows very beautifully. We had free full breakfast every morning, there was dinner buffet Friday & Saturday then Sunday the BBQ was so good complements to the chef and the restaurant team. This hotel was so close to all the shopping center. Staff was friendly and there english is good. I will return soon.

The room had a great view, comfortable, well provisioned. The included breakfast was excellent with high quality, ample variety, eggs cooked to order, multiple hot options and a selection of coffee, teas, hot chocolate, fruit juices and energy drinks. My only minor criticism is the pool towel situation…we were told we had to get a ticket and retain it for the duration of our stay (1 week) and show it each time we wanted a pool towel. Not customer friendly and not inline with all the other great things Hotel Plaza Paitilla provides.

The hotel is amazing. The rooms are great, the breakfast is the best. The service during the day is poor. There are people standing around that don't help you and just stare at you. The spa is the worst. I asked for a massage and a turn me down clearly because I am a gringo.

This was the perfect destination for our 3 night stay in Panamá City! The hotel is older but it appears they doing some renovations. Our room was very nice and recently remodeled. We loved every detail! The front desk staff was very helpful, the buffet breakfast had so many choices and the outdoor pool area was a nice bonus for being located right in the city. This is an excellent value for the price!

The hotel is good however the staff is not really into customer servise , there was a car parked at the front where i came to unload my luggage and he wasnt moving until i came out and ask him to move , when he move a taxi came and tailgate my vehicle and i didnt have space to take the luggage out , i ask the taxi and he start to argue and the guy in charge didnt do anything to help me, after that the same guy that was parked on the front blocked the entrance to the parking area and i had to keep asking to move the car , i told the front reception about this and they didnt do anything about it ,

The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean with the basic amenities. However, there were only hand towels and no face towels in the bathroom. There was a nice view of the city from the large window. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend This hotel. Staff were lovely, the rooms were wonderful and clean with an amazing view. The best were the breakfast buffets, included with the room- so much variety everyday and more than you could possibly eat. A wo dedful stay overall!

Booked a room including breakfast (because wasn’t possible to book without on Expedia) but had to leave at 5.30 for the airport so while checking in I asked whether we could get some snack instead. The answer was yes, very friendly, they will provide us with a take-away breakfast box. Next morning, nothing there, nothing prepared. The staff member wouldn’t even check or ask if they can pack sth on short notice (a banana maybe at least?!)… just a „NO“. don’t promise things you can’t deliver! Rooms medium, nothing special, not even shower gel. Street-view rooms quite noisy from the traffic.

Like Panamanian feel to the property. Breakfast Buffett is excellent but lunch and dinner menu has not changed in any substantial way in 6 years. And it isn’t very good. Eg … shrimp cocktail is not 8 tiny shrimp laying flat on a in some kind of red sauce with a few red onions sprinkled across the top and a few lettuce pieces at either end.

This is a great option to stay. It's got a restaurant downstairs, pool, exercise equipment and the most helpful staff. It was a very short but nice visit. Everything was clean and the bay view was our best choice.

First of all I must say, at first I was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel. But then I decided to do my research and realised that there were so many positive reviews. I experienced world class service while staying at this property. For one, I was upgraded to city view and I was completely blown away as I walked into the room. The view is to die for... Amazing is not even the right word to describe how lovely it is. This was my first time travelling to Panamá and Plaza Paitilla Inn made it worth my while. As I arrived in my taxi, the bell man greeted me and took my bags and suitcase from the car trunk and led me to the reception area. I was then greeted with a warm Panamanian smile from the front desk personnel who asked for my ID. The check in process took less than 2 minutes. Was very easy and smooth. I was then escorted to my room by the bell man. The bed linen were clean and fresh. We got basic amenities. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure was fantastic. WiFi was excellent. I love everything about this hotel. The staff are so friendly and the food was delicious. Daily housekeeping. Hotel looks as beautiful as the photos advertised. The restaurant got a little crowded on Christmas eve, as expected and it took a bit longer for us to get our meals. But overall, I would rate this hotel a 5 out of 5. I'll definitely be back!

I liked the spectacular view from my room & that the property has a convenience store across the street which allowed me to purchase a washcloth because unfortunately the hotel DOESN’T provide washcloths. I liked that UBER drivers easily locate the hotel for pickup & drop off and that public buses are one block walking distance from the hotel. Note: You need a bus ticket to ride the bus, no cash accepted. I didn’t like the older gentleman at the front desks personality. He was quite cold. I didn’t get in the pools because the water was murky. I didn’t like finding someone else’s hair on the floor in my room or fingerprints on the inside of my room door.

The hotel is in a nice area with marina views and a 10 minute walk to restaurants that are off-site. The breakfast buffet is very nice. We had only 3 concerns: 1- we had only 2 large towels and one hand towel- no wash cloths. 2- the noise from the adjacent park with loud music continued until 10:30 pm. You could also hear adjacent room doors slaming.. 3- the consierge was not knowledgeable about any area restaurants, shopping or nearby activities to do or tours to take except for those few listed in her book.

The staff members were very helpful. For a small extra charge we were able to check in 5 hours early which was a huge help in being able to drop off our luggage and then explore the beautiful city. The breakfast was outstanding- so many selections. The view from our window was breathtaking. Only negative comments- we had no wash cloths and the bathroom garbage container was dirty on the outside. Thank you for a lovely visit and if we return to Panamá City we look forward to staying with you again.
