Checking in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly at check in. I was there for the night while my husband was in the hospital. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

My room had no air the whole weekend

This was a bad experience. The staff here? Not the friendliest or most professional bunch. When we checked in, there was not a single “hello” or welcoming smile from the front desk crew. I guess they missed the memo that working a hotel meant working in the hospitality sector. I think this bunch would be ideal for the DMV. Especially the woman who checked us in. Pretty rude, to be honest. And when we came back later, the staff couldn’t be bothered to even look up from their conversations. Customer service? Non-existent. Now, let’s talk about cleanliness – or the lack thereof. I could start with the *dead opossum* in the pool they didn’t get rid of, but I’d much rather talk about the petri dish, excuse, room. Ever heard of rust? Good! If it’s metal, it has it! Random stains? Take your pick from mysterious white or elusive brown. Just kidding, you don't have to choose! I think my favorite is the peeling ceiling in the bathroom. It really added a lovely exfoliating touch. The bathtub had a lovely stain too. Basically everything had sometype of stain. And the corners had really cute villages of mold and dust. Like tiny forests in your room! Look, I get it’s a budget hotel, but does that mean guests should be treated like they are inconveniences? Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice and friendly staff on check-in and check-out

I was very unhappy with the customer service. We were told breakfast was to last until 10am and it was closed at 9am. There was no manager on duty and nobody could do anything about it. There were several other guests looking for breakfast at 9:30. No explanation and no compensation to the guests. Staff was not accommodating and defensive about the service. I also was not able to find a way to complain to radios on on phone or on line. I will not stay there again.

Hotel site states they have daily room cleaning services. We were there for 3 nights and only received service 1 day. Site also claims they serve breakfast. Food was fair, but the location is also not well identified. It was served in a conference room and would have helped if each food station had been on separate tables to prevent you from waiting for individuals to decide what to serve themselves. Why not utilize the whole room? They provided a double sliced toaster but only one side was working. On the last day there, we noticed they had finally purchased a new toaster. Those responsible for maintaining there was enough food failed to keep it stocked. We were there and another hour was still needed for the end of serving time and most of the containers were empty. Each day we had to ask for something from silverware to milk. We also noticed the outside area needed pruning. There were 2 ice machines for 4 floors and only one was working. The washers and dryers were also out of order. We used the stairs and were located on the 4th floor. The top floor first step needs to be repaired. The tile is partially broken. We also lost water for a short time and the water pressure was low during certain times of the day. The hotel served our need but I wouldn't give top ratings.

Room was clean, service was good. Staff was friendly

One of the bathroom lights was out and it made it very dark. Breackfast did not have many options and they did not even have decaf coffee.
