This used to be our preferred place to stay when we went to Victoria. Not anymore. Got a room with a hide a bed and the couch pulled out into a small platform, not suitable for sleeping. In addition, my son was pierced by something sharp in the stomach when he lay on the couch and we discovered a sewing needle wedged between the cushions. We informed the front desk and she brought up a cot for him to sleep on and said she would make a note about the needle. When she brought up the cot, it had a wooden platform with some wheels for moving it, but it was chained and padlocked to the bed and she said would have to remain attached to the bed. When we unfolded the bed, both ends were a couple of inches from the floor and the middle was about 2 feet from the floor. We informed the front desk that this was unacceptable for our son to sleep on. She came and rearranged the wooden platform so the bed would lay normally. She should have set it up when she first brought it to us. We won't be back to stay at this hotel ever again.

Hotel was okay. Thin walls and old construction (wood) made it easy to hear noises throughout the hotel and from noisy neighborhoods above us. Bathrooms are dated and need a make-over. Location was good with several restaurants and a mall close by.

The manager upgraded us to a king suite. The suite was spacious. However the guests above us were loud and up until 3:30 am. The 2nd night was quiet and much more enjoyable. It was fine for a place to sleep and just a short drive to downtown.

The renovated Red Lion is clean and confit able providing everything you need for a very good price. The staff are super friendly. We will dedicate be back :)

Check in and staff were good. Room was … ok. Not very clean, a broken press on nail was in the drawer of the bedside table. The drains in the bathroom ran very slow. Taking a shower led to standing in more than a foot of water by the end. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

This is our go to hotel in Victoria. We have stayed dozens of times. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced. Clean and great amenities. The rooms need black out drapes or blinds not sheers and something to stop the light from shining through the sides of the drapes. Parking lot lights are super bright.

Great hotel, full kitchenette stocked with the basics to get you by. Prime location, near 2 malls, multiple grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Recommend this hotel for families or long term stays.

We found our stay at the Red Lion Inn to be wonderful. From the moment we walked into the lobby to sign in, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, the greeting the desk agent, the decor, everything. Our room was perfect, clean, cozy, exactly what we sought. The whole weekend at the Red Lion Inn met our expectations.

The Room was clean and inviting. It had a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster and microwave and a bar fridge. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The only thing that wasn't great was the pillows. They were a little too hard and flat for me.

I came with my family and booked queen size bed for rooms They were saying to double bed its queen bed And they gave us one king size bed which was queen size and one sofa bed … and it was non refundable Not bad but still oky location is good Thankyou

Was very happy to have chosen Red Lion Inn and Suites in Victoria. Hotel is clean and the kitchenette is a plus. We booked the suite with kitchenette and it’s very roomy for the 4 of us. Staff are awesome, warm and hospitable. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. There’s ample parking. Should you need to visit Victoria, look no further, Red Lion is the place. We definitely will come back.

There was a water problem from the unit above ours. No one from the hotel arrived to advise us. When we reported the issue it was attended to. But we feel when there is an issue above your unit you should have been advised.
