Quality inn San Jose airport is a regular 2-star hotel. Everything is clean and is maintained well, but don't expect luxury accomodation here.
My room was clean and neat, amenities included a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker. A small wardrobe, writing table along with king size bed. The mattress was excellent (I like it slightly on the firmer side and that was exactly how it was), the pillows and bedspreads were comfortable and clean.
Breakfast buffet is a small spread, daily the same stuff - scrambled eggs, potatoes, a waffle maker for hot food. And cereal, milk, bagels, toast, fruit yoghurt, juice, coffee, apples and bananas round up the spread. Simple, but neat.
Location wise, it is just a mile from the Great Mall, or Cisco and other office areas in Milpitas. But it is not at an area where you can walk around, not are there any shops etc at walking distance. There are a couple of gas stations across the street, with a kiosk for essentials - but for anything else, you need a car.
Parking is free, and the premises are in a safe location.
Maintenance team is really good, the premises have been kept clean and neat.
A good option if you have a car and don't care about luxury stuff or big breakfast spread, etc.
