The upgrade was very nice, but the room was too warm and the shower was difficult to operate. The concierge was only average for a top hotel.

As a longstanding Hotels.com VIP Gold member we are eligible for upgrades, if available, as stated on your website. When we were checking in, we asked if they had availability for upgrades which she confirmed. However, she refused to give us the upgrade saying that Hotel.com should not make these promises. This was obviously disappointing, Hotels.com should ensure that their partners respect their agreements.

This is an interesting place, well appointed and classy. The restaurants look cool. We went tkbthe attached theatre and saw an excellent singer, bugbit was sooooo convenient.

It was a great stay, one of the nicer hotels I've had the privilege to stay at. Valet was convenient to have for an additional $30 a night. The pool was OK, quite small, with only one working jet. It could be warmer. For it's size no one is actually swimming and is really just to sit and relax in however it is not an actual jacuzzi. For a 5-star hotel, it really should have a jacuzzi and hot water in the winter (not just luke warm). Besides that, hotel room was clean and comfortable, we didn't have a great view as we were facing another building. Maybe you can ask for a nicer view when requesting a room? Overall, very happy but expected a bit more for a 5 star hotel.

At the hotel Le Capitole, our staying was excellent. The rooms, staff, amenities, and service were beyond expectations.Also, the location is perfect! The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly throughout the property and always smiling. I give 5 stars rating but I just could not find anything wrong with this property. The check-in was conducted professionally with a great depth of detail and in my preferred language, which is Spanish.we felt Le Capitole is an excellent value and would love to return!

This is such a beautiful hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone working at the valet was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved that the hotel offered breakfast vouchers for $20 to use in the restaurant and the breakfast was delicious. The drinks at Clubby Bar were great. The pool was nice. We had umbrellas to use because it was raining. Overall we loved our stay and recommended it to several people we met while in Quebec City. The location is great too!

Great hotel. The staff (front desk and valet) is incredibly nice and the hotel's location is incredible. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are quite comfortable and updated. The building has quite a few bars and a great restaurant. The downsize is that there is not actual parking for the hotel and using the valet can be tricky during peak times. I was there to visit Old Quebec and the Christmas Market and it was in such close proximity that we could easily return to the hotel when we were cold. Great stay all around.

Great place! Beautiful rooms and views! The hotel was modern chic retrofitted into a 20th century theater , simply magnificent. The staff and especially the concierge were so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this facility!

If you aren't a millionaire and like feeling classed this is the place for you. The rudest and most unhelpful staff are always willing to make you feel small and stupid! :) I actually got kicked out of the hotel because I enquired multiple times why my Expedia VIP package wasn't honored. Beautiful area and hotel, but absolutely and utterly terrible staff. I RARELY have anything bad to say, but this was actually so bad that it ruined my girlfriends birthday. Please be cautious if you book this and aren't upper class.
