It was a bad experience, because we needed to sleep during the day, because our work is during the night and I asked them not to bother us while we slept and they didn't respect that and knocked on the door they wanted to enter to clean and they didn't let us rest

First time staying at a Red Roof Inn. Was a little disappointed after seeing the property from the outside. However, room and beds were clean. There’s also a fridge and a microwave in the room. Hot water / coffee / tea available 24 hrs at the lobby. Bathroom was small and no place in the sink to put toiletries on. Bathroom smelled a little. Overall stay was good but I’ve stayed at much nicer hotels for less. I wouldn’t mind staying at a Red Roof Inn again but only if price is cheaper.

Hotel was pumped with perfume. Coffee machine out of order. People living there full time with kids. Window was cracked. View was of a side alley with commercial business. Wouldn’t stay there again. Not worth the price.

Several spiders in the room and the actual mattress, while covered with a protector, was very heavily stained. It was what I expected with a red roof. Price was astronomical for the quality received but there was an event in town which drove all prices up. Would stay somewhere else if I could next time.

I love that the rooms aren’t carpeted. Floors were clean. I don’t like carpeted hotel rooms - usually musty and stained and torn. Nice and convenient to Newport and just nearby are some small shops, Dunkin Donuts (not my favorite, but in a pinch at least there is some form of coffee). 😉

The tight bathroom & the smell of dead rodents which I seen. Due to the field area which the building lie on which field mice & possible other rodents will dwell for warmth & food. They need to inquire a better exterminator method. The Staff was very kind. Sorry for being truthful.

Our door we had to really press on it to make sure it was fully shut and locked Walked in and smelled of weed, made our friend nauseous For what the hotel was, I think may have been slightly overpriced. Breakfast I felt could've been a little bigger.

The website sold me into thinking it was a spectacular place wasn’t anything like the website. It was just ok for one night stay the continental breakfast was a joke very uninviting and the manager of the hotel personally was terrible didn’t make us feel welcome at and when checking out he could of care less that we were leaving gave us such unwelcoming feeling and for as many we walked through that lobby no one was ever at the desk! If I could of I would of never stay there poor rating from me 👎

Driving to the property for the first time we encountered a problem with our GPS system. We phoned the property and spoke to the young women on duty and explained our problem. She did her best to determine our location and direct us to the property. After a few minutes when we had not arrived, we received a phone call from the women we had spoken to earlier who said she was concerned about us because we should have arrived already. She remained on the phone with us for several minutes helping us get to the property. My wife and I were very impressed with the genuine concern and assistance offered by the young women who called us back when we did not arrive and spent considerable time helping us. Her concern and assistance was the most memorable encounter during our stay, We have retold this story many many times.

Last minute decision on a Saturday in august to stay in Newport. Great reception at checkin, very clean room and updated room. My only negative was I paid WAY too much! :(

Staff was stingy with towels, almost to the point of rudeness. Only hot breakfast was waffles (unless you count toast). AC acted like a swamp cooler.

Hotel was very clean and quiet despite being on a busy road. Location was convenient to Newport. Room was large and comfortable and I enjoyed sitting on the little balcony in the evening. Perfect for a brief stay.

It was a really comfortable bed and room; for the price- it was a good value- some of the other properties in Newport were literally hundreds dollars ( $350-650 per night)! This place was just fine and clean and very convenient to the wedding venue at Regatta Place

The staff were friendly and the rooms appeared clean, however my girlfriend and I definitely ran into some issues. For one, the power went out for about 6 hours during the day, leaving the rooms hot and dark. The main issue, however was that the room we were assigned had bed bugs. While they were accommodating and gave us another room, it was still a turn off as we were only staying for two nights. We now have to worry about bringing them home and hope they issue us a refund. Overall, a decent place fairly close to newport, just make sure you check for bed bugs.
