We were in the area to attend a wedding at the Palms Restaurant and Banquet Hall. It was very convenient to that location. The Denny’s located on the corner of the property was very convenient and affordable for family dinners too. There is plenty of free parking on the property also. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

The morning at checkout, the manager on duty that day was very, and I mean very rude. She was not customer oriented and seems to not like her job. The room was clean and comfortable, but the TV did not work and the maintenance person could not fix the problem. will no stay here again.

The hotel is not bad. Bed were good,we sleep comfortable. The bathroom nice & Clean. Parking was good. The water from shower was too slow. Breakfast not meet our expectations. No elevator.

One night stay as a family. Room was clean and comfortable. Hot water worked great. Lots of noise coming from the top room, but by 9pm it was quiet. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Front desk was friendly. Didn’t have any problems with hot water. Comfortable beds. Variety of channels. It wasn’t anything to write home about but was a good budget option! Would stay here again!

I was concerned about the horror stories some prior guests left, so I’ll address the most prominent issues. As to the deposit, they asked for $100 which I put on a credit card. My full deposit was refunded within 2 business days of my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the maids honored my wishes for privacy and supplied towels and other items like coffee on request. The jacuzzi was a pleasant surprise; it was clean, hot, and for the most part private. We used it 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed. We didn’t use the breakfast as Denny’s was in the same lot and we went there each morning. The one biggest issue was the hot water in the room as others have mentioned. It was fine the first night but stayed cold the rest of the time. We mentioned it to the desk person and she said they were aware and trying to address it. The room was big, clean, and featured a coffee machine, fridge and microwave. We used all three with no problems. I would stay here again as overall it was a very nice experience.

It was clean. One day we did not have hot water for our showers, it was barely lukewarm. Breakfast is very basic. Close to highway, so had traffic noise.

Perfect stay for what we needed. My partner and i needed a place to rest after a day of hiking nearby. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious. There was a fridge, microwave and small coffee pot in the room. Nice tv with good channel selection and small sofa where we ate dinner. Make sure to ask for a room AWAY from the freeway and dont expect much for breakfast.

Clean hotel and well run property. El Cajon is not the best area, but for this area and compared to other hotels that were cheaper, I was glad to pick this one. Breakfast was decent also

AVOID. Totally sketchy hotel and both Days Inn and Expedia should take their names off it. We arrived and there was a woman arguing with her boyfriend in the parking lot. He had locked himself in his car and she was pounding on it and he was screaming back at her. It felt really weird and unsafe, and we asked staff to please cancel and give us our money back. Staff (Judy) would not give us a refund, and said we had to call Expedia. Expedia people were nice but said that they would have to talk to the manager. Area around the hotel was dirty, staff was unconcerned with our safety and comfort, and the whole experience was unpleasant. We went to another hotel across town and I want my money back.

Beds were comfortable. Lamp's lightbulb by bedside was flickering and very dim. We just didn't use it. Bathroom was big, wheelchair accessible. It also had some watermarks by toilet maybe used to have a water leak. Room was non smoking. Room did have a musky smell. A little outdated. For a one night stay we were comfortable. Quick checkout and friendly staff.

The hostess was friendly, helpful and patient. I just left a place that was the opposite of this one. I breathed a sigh of relief when I walked into the room. Clean and well decorated. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good size fridge. Looked inviting to me and comfortable. I could park right in front of my room. Everything very close and convenient. Breakfast was good. And Starbucks in the same parking lot. I will be coming back.

We stayed 1 night ,Sat to Sun morning as we attended a Sat wedding about a mile away. We were able to check in early, at 1:30pm as a room was available and that was nice! The Wedding Reception wasnt until 6 pm, so we were able to Relax prior to the wedding! (*We were at the event at 10am to 1:30, and then had time to kill before the 6pm Reception, so was awesome we could check in early! We Have to say we enjoyed our stay, No complaints from Arrival to departure; Room was very Clean, smelt clean, no parking issues; Denny's and Starbucks are a stone throw away..so that was nice! Was just a very good stay! Being on the 2nd floor, across from the pool (rooms window looked out to the pool!)..we honestly had No noise complaints, especially in the evening as well, we returned at about 10:30pm and Thankfully still very quiet!! *I've been at more expensive places with Noise All day! We were very Happy with our stay and definitely would stay here again. Interaction with front desk was great also, a very friendly girl.

Hotel smelled bad, toilet stained yellow I didn’t even eat to poop due to how dirty it was. I got none-smoking and still smelled like smoke. Would never stay here again

The new picture mural behind the bed was very nice, the crisp clean sheets felt new. The staff was very nice. I wish you had a couple of more handicap parking spaces. I’m handicapped and older, but because someone else got to the parking before I did the only 2 handicap spots were gone I had to walk. The parking lot lighting could be a little better also. Stayed her over 3 years ago. I plan on staying here again.
