Loving my Roadway Stay. Is it a motel? Yes. If you find yourself staying an extended time here or at a motel, it doesn't have to feel like one when you are in your room. Why not make it feel comfortable and homey. By adding some special little touches, you have made it into what you want it to be. None of the things I have done cost a lot of money. Most of them are from Dollar Tree. When people come into my room,though, it is warm, welcoming and they say it feels like home. Nowhere is perfect. Outwardly/aesthetically it is a motel, but for your stay, where you lay your head doesn't have to feel like one. Refocus your mind away from the things you don't like about the room. Put your thoughts and spare time into making it something special for you. That piece of mind is worth it. It can feel like your special master bedroom that just so happens to be located at a motel. So come stay at The Roadway and make it your way.
You can judge a book by its cover, but why not open the book and make it something you would enjoy reading

I cannot get enough of this place. I have always been pretty much a nomad and moved around a lot. I've stayed in a lot of motels, but I have never felt as comfortable, mentally and physically, as I do here. As with any motel, it is not a five star Four Seasons, but I would choose to stay here over that any day.
Some people have mentioned people that hang out on the outside of the motel, That they didn't feel safe. If they had bothered to stay here and go outside, they would have found out that they were judging purely on the outward appearance. I am someone that retired out of the "badged" sector of society and I feel safe here. I have never felt unsafe or uncomfortable in the parking lot or surrounding areas

I really enjoy each time I stay here. Love the location of it. So many great things to walk to. The room was clean and the larger fridge was such an added bonus.

The motel is really old
It's in a place where people live in that motel and it's really kind of scary to stay there
