3 Star hotel at best because the rooms definitely need a remodel, not just the makeover they received as they are not anywhere near the size as they appeared in the pictures. Although the farm doors where a great touch, it’s the room size thats the biggest drawback. The reception area was small but the lobby/eating area remodel currently under construction while we were there, did have the makings of a 4-5 star look. The sink faucet in our room not secure, swiveled back and forth, a large bad spot in the tub and it wouldn’t drain causing us to have to change rooms, definitely did not make us feel great about our vacation choice to stay there. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff extremely friendly and nice but the reception is definitely where you have to make sure you put the most friendliest smiling staff member, because it’s your first impression and how your first greeted upon arrival that set the cadence. Name tags would be very helpful as well and required at your 4-5 Star luxury hotels. That way you could add names of the staff members that did make it memorable.

Even though the facility is under renovation, my stay was pleasant. Employees were always nice and helpful. Room was very clean and maintained. Overall a great stay.

Upon arrival our TV was not working probably due to a bad "box". 3 people came up and were unable to help. Finally the manager gave us another room but it was not the King Suite we had reserved which it should have been. There was lots of lobby construction going on and no lobby bathrooms which was an issue when we arrived to check-in. Re: Breakfast.... microwaved egg and wonder-meat offerings need to be improved! Motel breakfasts are really not worth eating! Nothing earth shattering here but you asked.

The staff was great but no indication or warning that they would be under construction as well as when we were trying to use the Wi-Fi for work we were unable to because it was not working properly we asked staff and they were unsure the issue. We finally gave up and just use hotspot. My wife was having issues because she has asthma and it was hard for her to breathe during the construction so she stayed at the room most of the time while we were there and then left with us.

The problem with the stay was hotel renovations which were not explained on the website or at any time during booking. We stayed 3 days but the problems were many. Much noise associated with a full outside and inside remodel. Wall noise from drilling starting early in the morning. Workout room and pool shut down for no apparent reason. Towels were a difficult commodity. Phone in room did not work. Ants in the room near the window. Drain in bathtub backed up when showering and took 15 minutes to drain even while fully open. Shampoo bottle empty and pump did not work. The breakfast was outstanding and the overall comfort was fine, but so many little problems that it was not a good stay. Sorry Hampton, you should notify people in advance or cut rates dramatically if patrons are expected to deal with these types of issues during a vacation.

The main reason I’m giving this place a 3 is because the pool was not open. One of the main reasons for booking this place was the distance to six flags and the pool. We were stuck in the room instead of being able to swim. I would’ve booked somewhere else. This information should be on the website. Plus the hotel was under renovation.

I was not happy to see after I paid for and arrived for my stay, all of the renovations going on in the lobby, near the dining area and around the hotel at the time, including the parking lot. While I understand that it is nessasary at times to do so, I just wish that I had been informed of it in some type of way before I booked my room to give myself the option to find another place to stay or, to ask for a discount because of the construction on my rate before I purchased my room.

It was really good. They are remodeling so that was the only downfall and not being able to use the pool. We will definitely come back after to see the remodel.

The room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. Check in was easy and quick. There was a lot of construction being done but not late and the workers were very kind. Breakfast was amazing and very welcoming. We will be back

The breakfast was great with fresh blueberries, strawberries, eggs, sausage, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly. But housekeeping dropped the ball. The room entry tile shared the bathroom tile, and bare footprint and shoe prints were seen on the floor when we arrived, indicating the floor had not been cleaned. The sink drain backed up easily and a clump of hair could be seen in the drain around the stopper, as well as various hairs in the bathroom from the previous guests. Hampton Inn is usually a great stay, but this is this worst I've encountered because of the room condition.

We were looking for something safe, clean and comfy to stay after a six flags visit. The hotel was less than 10 min from the park and was in the middle of a remodel. Our room was clean and modern. It only has one teeny tiny trash can though. Good breakfast for free. Lots of seating.

I stayed for one night with family when we were traveling through ATL.
Pros: location is nice with many hotels and restaurants nearby; staff was excellent especially the crew running breakfast; the breakfast was fresh and tasty for a free meal; room was clean and bed comfortable.
Cons: there are large flood lights shining in the parking lot for security but they are installed facing the hotel. So even though we have the curtains closed it was very bright in the room which kept our little one awake during the night. The hotel is also undergoing a remodel so the parking lot and main floor is a little cluttered.

Overall the stay was nice. The only issue was that the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The previous guest soap was still in the shower.

Our stay at the hotel was good and the location was very convenient. It was kept clean and the staff was very polite. The only issue was apparently noise was coming from another floor where work or repairs was being done. Other than that we were pleased with our stay.

This property is being renovated, so.promptly at 9am there is barrage of extremely loud noises going on. They're working on the top floor working their way down, but they make no mention of this until you call wondering why it sounds like they're right next door drilling their way into your room! They booked our room right below the work and we had to ask to be moved. Even on the first floor you can hear it. If you have small children, or aren't up for the noise, I suggest you book elsewhere.

Did a one night stay here and it was good. The room was really big. It could easily sleep 6 people. Recently updated. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was your standard hot breakfast-Waffle station, eggs (scrambled and boiled), Sausage, pastries and ect.

NOISE! Noise from the hallway, doors slamming
unable to get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast area was nice, the food was good. Mattresses were like sleeping on a waterbed. Padded quilt for bed was stained.

It was a great overall, one night. Big breakfast! Sausages, eggs, grits, oatmeal, little boxes cereal,fresh fruit salad, waffles yummy! 2 flavors of waffle mix & waffle maker one big & a big one that made 4 smaller ones. Bagels, pastries & I am missing something. The kitchen staff was very attentive to keeping it tidy too. Juice/Milk machine, ice water & coffee, teas hot chocolate, flavored creamers. Busy hotel but you really couldn't tell. We stayed on the fourth floor in an accessible room. Shower only. Linens in the bathroom were clean & folded neatly, cute flower made on the tissue box. The track on the outside edge of the shower was orange, & floor pan of the shower was a little dingy, but it wasn't unacceptable, two icky stains, one on the floor past the toilet & other 1/2 foot up the wall. attention to detail.
The WIFI in our room did not connect as per the directions called front desk. It was strong & consistent.
TV could not get a signal until we kept hitting channel up. another call to the desk.
Fridge was clean & a microwave was provided. There are USB plugs I found six which is great!
Big Desk area with a chair. Chair was old & stained so used a pillow to sit on it.
King bed linens were clean & comfy.
Only Negative a/c unit drove us nuts making these weird clicking sounds. I popped out filters, they had not been cleaned in months. Asked for the manager & she went up saw the filters. Maintenance is supposed to clean them weekly.
