We've stayed at this location before and so it was no surprise that we had another very enjoyable stay this time. The place is a little out of the way for downtown if that's what you're looking for, but then it's only a few minutes driving to get there. Also, it's a good base for anyone exploring the area around Squamish, and actually is only a short distance from the Railway Heritage Museum which is a highly recommended place to visit.

Staff were great. Place was very nice and close to amenities and dining options. Good brewery and cidery within a 5 min walk. Only knock for us was finding out this morning that the pool and hot tub don't open until 9am. Found that strange, most hotels the pool would be open no later than 8am

Booked the sandman for one night to join my father that was staying there already for 3 nights. My mothe in law was in Squamish Hospital and hence why we booked the hotel. Customer service / staff was outstanding and the free continental breakfast had lots of choice.
Pool was clean and wonderful to have a water slide for children.
A very special mention to Heidi at the front desk that made our stay and my father in laws very easy. Heidi exemplified what customer service is all about. She is very kind and thoughtful and made us and other guests feel valued-
The breakfast staff were also excellent ensuring tables were clean and food was replenished. Bravo Sandman

This Property was way over priced for what it was, charged us almost $300 for one night in squamish! Pet friendly hotel, sure tack on the pet fees on top of the already far over priced hotel.
On top of all of that, the room wasn’t clean, there was literally someone’s left over garbage in the room.
Not impressed.

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, room is clean and roomy, kids love the pool and slide, restaurant and shopping close by. Generally a great experience, if the breakfast could have more variety it would be perfect! Thank you!

Room was small but nicely cleaned. I was expecting housekeeping to come and ask for cleaning but no one approached us for room cleaning during our 2 night stay. Breakfast is free which is average intercontinental breakfast with small cafeteria and crowded. Less equipments in cafeteria kept you waiting for your turn. Staff is good and well behaved and easily approachable. Looking at the prices during Christmas holidays it’s a best deal. Overall worth in these prices $650 with taxes for two days Dec 24 and Dec 25th.

I had a great time at the sandman hotel. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good and hot tub was super hot! My daughter enjoyed the slide and the pool. The location is great, only about 40 minutes away from Whistler or Vancouver. We used to stay in Vancouver and commute to Whistler for the day, but now this will be our base when visiting the area. Highly recommended.

It was a decent stay but there is no accountability from others being disruptive in the hotel. From stomping all night to coughing all over the continental breakfast.

room upgrade was nice, shower was honestly not the best and the heat in the room didn’t work so it was pretty chilly. Breakfast was awful, only hard boiled eggs that tasted a few days old and I wish the pool was heated. Honestly wasn’t worth the money. Also the tv channels need a major upgrade and would be nice if the TV’s had a Netflix option cause we watched the news and jeproady for hours. It was kinda bad.
