Only Criticism I was ok with it,but the very steep acute stairs,someone elderly may struggle to get up them ,nice size room and excellent shower

Great location in central Canterbury with easy access from both train stations. Beautifully designed and very comfortable room, with everything you might need for a short stay.

The room had everything I needed included shower and toilet. The room was clean and the linen was laundered to a very high standard. I had a very comfortable night's sleep. You can hear the movement of other guests, but everyone behaved well - and ear plugs are provided!
Because I needed to use my computer late into the evening for work purposes, I would have benefitted from slightly better lighting.

Location was very good, and city noise quiet too considering it's so central. Room had its charm, being part of quite an old building. Ample storage space. Shower was good. Check in was nice and easy.
Not enough toilet roll, I was woken up and kept awake by other residents/staff (walls/ceiling quite thin) jangling keys in locks and talking loudly, the room was quite dimly lit, I found it impossible to fully close the curtain, could've done with a full length mirror in the room, mattress was lumpy and I could feel the springs, plug socket for telly looked dangerously overloaded. For a similar price you can stay on the UKC campus and get an included breakfast which is what I'll be doing next time.
