Wonderful staff. Beautiful location, clean, spacious rooms with all facilities working. Gym, pool and sauna for guests to use. Delicious grub 10/10

We stayed in two different rooms over the 2 nights because we wanted a bath. They were unable to get a room with a bath on the first night but they arranged it for the second one. The new room was enormous and luxurious. Several staff members were exemplary. Ben, Ali, Mags and Madisson all made such an impression I wanted to name them for their amazing customer service. When there were issues, they were resolved or made up for in other ways.
There were some tiny niggles which made this an imperfect stay but none were a big deal. My partner wasn't keen on not being able to use the pool/steam room area as it was being used by private functions and a swim school. It was closed for "emergency cleaning" for the one hour in which we could've used it that day so I complained. The cleaning guy let us in for half an hour, which was nice. Then I spoke to Ali, who arranged a bottle of lovely white wine.

Amazing size rooms
Quite a lot of the place had damage , like in the main bathroom the side panels must have got wet at one point swelled and rotted , holes in the tiles in the bathroom , cobwebs hanging from the lights , drain blocked outside one of the bedrooms, it’s definitely a poo pipe as every time someone flushed water ran down

Lock on room,unstable,difficult to lock.
Decent people no problem etc,so left it unlocked,had no real valubles it was ok.
No standard TV. ,in pub space.(not expecting Sky,but terrestrial TV would v been good,no extra cost😥😏)
Not much around the area,but a lot like that.
The pub facing,no TV. or cask beer there, at least the hotel had decent local pints.
