Our stay at Olympia Lodge was a great vacation for us. We stay there because of the proximity to El Carmelo Cemetery when we go there to visit our family that has passed.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the aquarium. I was pleasantly surprised with the area and the ease of access to everything.
Restaurants, gas stations, the ocean and the aquarium were not more then a 5 minute drive away.
The room was clean the staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable.
The only issue you may have was that you could hear everything outside the room.
If you are a light sleeper l would not recommend. I didn’t mind to much, it reminded me of camping in a cabin with extended family as a child. 😊

Everything was wonderful and it was a beautiful day and the beds are super comfortable. Slept very well. Everything is clean.

The refrigerator was leaking water, so the carpet in front of the fridge, which happens to be in front of the sink, was wet the whole time. The heater is very old and took hours to actually heat the room. The furniture were beat up and old. Most of the window shutter blinds were broken. Parking was not available at the hotel so had to park in the street. I booked this hotel because it was rated as a 3 star hotel at Hotels.com, however, it is a one start hotel at the best.

Great room, clean and comfortable, Vic was super helpful and made our check in easy! Parking on site which was handy as we had a car. Plenty of restaurants down the road and close to the beach and town.

it's quiet, close to the scenic ocean trail, and also real close to the strip of restaurants on Lighthouse downtown PG. i'll be back!

The area was calm. So calm that we saw 3 deers from the parking lot. The "breakfast" could of been better, the crossaint and palmier were stale and the two mints were strange. Maybe some yogurt or boxed cereal would've been better. They don't get stale. And we didn't really have a door door, just a sliding door. But the rooms were clean just had a moist smell. The heater works well and we couldn't hear our neighbors. All in all a solid 3 of 5.

Room was clean but unimpressive, which makes sense given it’s a more affordable option. Decor is a bit tired and worn and rooms feel rather austere. Staff was efficient and friendly. Main room for improvement was noise. It was easy to hear water pipes and neighboring guests through the walls, and housekeeping and cleaning staff get started quite early, which was also noisy. One morning someone started running a leaf blower on the property around 9 a.m., well before checkout time (not ideal for those who like to sleep in a bit). Overall, it’s a decently average/okay place to stay.

Everyone we met was very nice and helpful. Vic at the front desk was great, and even offered an early check because our rooms were going to be ready that morning. There is a coffee shop next door, and the lighthouse and trail is about a 5 minute walk.

The office staff were polite and very friendly. We enjoyed our visit there. Walked into Pacific Grove and checked out the town. Also walked to the beach🏖. We saw deers and lots of different birds. The sunset's were so beautiful.

I was there 'off season', so it was just incredibly quiet. I really appreciate that. My room had a view out to the ocean, which was about a half-mile away. This is just a beautiful area of California, and the people are very nice. The Olympia Lodge is located next door to "Lucy's on Lighthouse", which has excellent espresso drinks, creative hot dogs that are tasty, and excellent breakfast burritos on the weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable. I very much enjoyed my stay.

We initially booked for the closness to the tide pools and the price. Now that we've been.... we loved it. Beds are a little stiff but not the worst and no table in the room made eating a little difficult but otherwise great. Our 8yr old was SO happy to see the deer outside this morning. We'll definitely visit again.

It was a nice comfortable stay. Loved the wooden structure all-around. Loved the view to the ocean. Very close to great restaurants,bars, and coffee shops.

Okay property if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. Sliding glass doors as your main entrance was a bit different. Unable to let fresh air in at night. Tub was weak in middle, I thought I was going to call thru the lower floor. End of the day can’t beat it for the price.

I love the area where the hotel is however, the room smells like dirty carpet, there were stains on the bedding, you can hear the upstairs neighbors all night, the bed made noises everytime I moved, when we asked the front desk if we can change our room they said no, we even offered to pay the difference if that was the issue but they said no and that the room smelled good…we had reservations for two nights, couldn’t sleep the first night so we decided to leave the hotel, I paid the insurance in case we had to cancel for an emergency and Expedia said they couldn’t do anything…Thank you for nothing

I always love staying at the Olympia lodge. Its always super clean and the breakfast is a total added bonus. The lodge grounds are so beautiful with moss and ferns. I love the wild life you get to see in the area and how convenient thr location is to everything

We came for Jazzfest and had a lovely stay, The location is perfect, great access to beach, and running or walking. The hotel is clean, rooms are nice. Breakfast is a grab and go box with croissant and bonbell cheese and coffee, nothing too impressive there. The plumbing is old, so hard time flushing toilets ( sorry if that crosses to TMI). people are lovely, porch and outdoor setting is great, beds were comfy and cozy! All in all, weve stayeed her twice and will stay again

First time back at Olympia Lodge after 20 years, and once again enjoyed the quiet surroundings and proximity of all that is Pacific Grove. The staff was absolutely awesome!! Will be back soon!
