Personal & breakfast
The stay was… memorable, but not in the way you’d hope. This was supposedly a business room — not standard, not upgraded, but something meant to impress. Well, it certainly left an impression.
Room was cold — no heating, no extra blanket, just the thrill of winter indoors. Slippers were listed but never showed up (maybe they got cold feet too). The floor was so dirty, it felt like a subtle encouragement to levitate. No elevator, despite being promised — at least my luggage and I bonded over the stairs.
The room decor was a bold experiment in randomness — like someone emptied a thrift store into it and called it “eclectic.” No iron or ironing board, unless they were part of a scavenger hunt. The fridge didn’t work, but made a great conversation piece with its quiet indifference. Dust on every surface, and the windowsill seemed to be cultivating a small dust farm.
And then there was the bathroom — clearly abandoned mid-renovation, with strong basement-meets-garage energy. I half-expected to find a toolbox in the shower.
On the bright side, the staff was lovely, breakfast was decent, and I now truly understand the phrase “don’t believe the photos.”
