Do not recommend. AVOID

the only positive thing I can say is great location.

Otherwise, this is a tired and run down hotel. It doesn’t look like photos at all. Staff were disinterested to the point of rude. The room was unclean and had awful smell of foul drains. The breakfast was chaotic with almost exclusively processed foods. A tiny portion of scrambled eggs was available but only on request and took nearly 30 minutes to come, at which point we were told breakfast was over and we had to leave the space in 5 minutes!

desayuno, muy bueno y los garzones o gente del servicio que tienen ahí, son muy amables. la Piscina buen tamaño-

la habitación contaba con un baño de buen tamaño, pero sus sanitarios muy antiguos y no bonitos, muy bajos me refiero a la distancia desde el suelo, eso era incómodo. lo demás bien.

El personal es muy atento. Esta cerca de todo.

Muy caro para lo que ofrece. Habitación grande pero cortinas viejas y rotas que dejan pasar la luz. El baño es anticuado y si medis 1,70 te chocas el techo al alzar las manos y la bacha esta muy abajo.

Brod bar around the córner having loud club music from 6pm until 2am non stop. i was on the 7th floors but i wasnt even able to speak by the phone… toilets are old and in need of renovation

Exceptional

Friendly, knowledgable front desk staff connected us to great tours. Hotel is centrally located in safe area. Very comfortable. Stayed as family with teenaged son.

The back yard landscaping is nice

Rooms r so old it’s gross bed had one of those yucky thin cover then a thin sheet. Breakfast was horrible with so little selection.

Disappointing

Location is goodand friendly people in the reception.

The room quality was not great, old bathrooms, broken handle on door to bathroom, thin windows, incredibly loud traffic at night. Also a concert played from 10-11 pm first night. The hotel needs nicer rooms and the photo I got of the room was definitely not the same room we got.

the hotel was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are super clean and very modern

the elevators seem to have been programmed by a crazy person. there is no comprehensible way of them stopping and the direction they’re taking.

Nice staff, great location and good price

Great breakfast, including products without gluten. Hot shower, great location and nice staff.

The bedroom looked bigger in the pictures and the bathroom was a bit old.

Exceptional

It was a really fancy hotel, so a little expensive but worth it if you are treating yourself. I was lucky enough to be upgraded from a simple double bed room to an amazing penthouse apartment, at no extra cost, as they was a small problem with my TV. The staff are great and most speak good English. I even extended my stay a few more days and still paid the cheaper rate of my original small room.

The WiFi is a bit annoying to sign into, but it works well enough once connected. I had some trouble with the TV in my room but the staff were quick to fix it.

30 years ago it was an amazing place... It still can be.. I hope.

The room and pool were very nice. I liked the manager Mr. Gómez, the lifeguard and one of the receptionist that spoke English, I don't remember her name but she had glasses and was the only one that smiles. The head receptionist wasn't friendly. But everyone can have bad days. If it wasn't for Mr. Gómez kindness and professionalism I would have not stayed. After 30 years, it was a nostalgic experience nonetheless. I'll be returning when it's back to greatness, which it's on its way I think.

No umbrellas in the pool area, they are getting repaired. Also supposedly there are bat droppings around the pool, but to me they look like they come from rodents. Regardless they should clean pool area every morning since they have all morning to do so since the pool opens up at 10:30! I didn't like that on Booking.com says that the renovations would be finished February 2019 but they weren't. So no restaurant, elevators not working, different entrances, noise, dust in the air in the lobby and car fumes type smells everywhere in the air. The breakfast they offer is extra but should be included for all guests for the inconveniences. Parking is extra as well. If this hotel states they're 4-5 stars they need to step it up, when the renovations are finished or at least accommodate for their shortcomings.
