We had a brilliant time staying at The Principal Madrid. Throughout our stay, all hotel staff were friendly and helpful with all my requests. They were able to lend me an adapter when I forgotten mine. I requested two beds and a quiet room and this was fulfilled. The terrace was lovely and had a splendid view of the city. Although they provide a dental kit, their toothbrush is not nice to use - bring your own toothbrush. There are many shops around the area; some local cafes and restaurants. Very close (walking distance) to many landmarks. Their spa service is a spa room where there are just two massage beds. The service was excellent and you pay at check out. We will definitely revisit this hotel.

The rooms are very small and the bathroom has a tub shower which is dangerous to get in and out of due to a glass partition. Very friendly staff and excellent food in the dinning room.

Amazing hotel. Prime location yet super quiet, nice decor style, great views, amazing restaurant and the hotel had everything you needed. I loved that it was a smaller hotel, so that you weren’t overrun by other guests. Staff was very helpful and super friendly. Everyone spoke perfect English which is not given in Spain.
If I had any negative comment it would be that the shampoo holder in the shower was a little tilted, and the table in the room was coated in a strange material. And if this is my only negative feedback, then the hotel was perfect :)
Definitely coming back next time I am in Madrid.
