stayed here for 2 nights, 3 days. staff is great and friendly and deserves high praise, but hardly any amenities are included for your stay and as we all know, it’s pricy. parking is not included in your stay and is $50 overnight, yes even if you are actively staying at the hotel. no, there is no parking in the hotel surrounding areas you can leave your car at overnight without being in a tow zone past 12am. Bikes are available for guests again at another cost. I paid for an ocean view room with a balcony and they are very good at phrasing their room views and not describing at all that it is a divided room meaning there is a door between rooms that is locked but leaving you to be able to hear the people next to your room. ocean view room you’d expect to face the ocean directly, but upon entering the room, you will see you are on the side of the hotel and can see the ocean on the side, not the front where the ocean is. the room is nice but is dated. it includes a bottle of wine and 2 waters. upon entering the room, one of the bedside lamp lights went out as well. it’s nice but for the price you pay, you expect much better with more included amenities like free overnight parking for your stay. If i needed to stay in HB again, i’d probably go with the Hyatt or the Hilton next door that i’ve been to before. I wanted to give this one a chance but after my stay here, i can say i have definitely been to better, at a much better price with the same great customer service.

We had a great time except for the service we received at the bar one night. Her name was Jenn. She was rude and unfriendly. We ate at the bar and it was terrible experience. I spoke with the manager and they comped a few things but I feel like something more could have been done. We enjoy coming to this hotel and would like to in the future but not if jenn is going to be serving us.

Expedia said my room has an ocean view ( not partial view) but the only way I could see the Ocean is going out on the balcony and leaning over the railing I feel i was totally misled.

Nice property across from the beach. Limited restaurant options due to closure of their main restaurant. Daily resort fee of $40, $150 pet cleaning fee and $48 expensive parking seems to be unjustified and knocks this down a star.

Everyone was SUPER helpful and accommodating when we got to the site early (I had an appointment in the area). From when we pulled in for valet, our bell hop, and front desk representative, we felt so welcomed and everyone looked so happy to work there! And it got even better when we got to our room! The room and amenities were so great. The only downside was that I could only stay one night!!! I will be back!

We were on the second floor with partial ocean view but had a full pool view and bar view. The hotel was definitely clean and the staffs were friendly. My favorite part is that it is pet friendly and the restaurants were pet friendly and they even had a pet menu.

I was only there for one night but the property is gorgeous and we loved the flip flops and beach services provided. The room was sleek and clean and room service was quick and tasty. I’m from Las Vegas so I’m used to steep resort fees but I was shocked to see a $40 resort fee PLUS a $48 parking fee. I’ve never seen a double charge like that. It makes me not want to come stay again. At least not with a car. Hotels.com also didn’t clarify that parking wasn’t part of the resort fee, so that’s a bummer.

It was so LOUD. The music was one thing but the party goers screaming yelling laughing talking outside our hotel room door was so loud from1:00AM til 4:00am up and down the hallways outside our door was horrible . We got no sleep.

we were able to get early check in and also extended our stay 1 additional nite for awesome discounted rate. Staff was friendly and super hospitable... Beautiful resort with all amenities we needed. Free bicycle rentals to explore... Highly Recommend others to experience.. (do note... weekends, music plays all nite- We danced on our balcony - didn't have to leave our room! Great weekend getaway for hubby n me with an amazing view!

Hotel did not honor our platinum status with a free room upgrade. Even though I asked for the room upgrade, the front desk attendant smirked and said I had already paid and upgraded myself to an ocean view. I checked and the hotel is only partially full and there are plenty of upgraded rooms available.

Rooftop bar was too loud (unable to sleep). Love that there was a mall next door since I forgot to pack my clothes. I was able to walk over there & find enough items for my trip. The 2 middle of the night fire drills were really annoying though!!

We had a fantastic stay at Paseá Huntington Beach! Wonderful staff, excellent food including pet breaksfast for my WillowBeri!!! She LOVED the salmon rice bowl!!! My only issue is no pets allowed inside the pool area and the treetop lounge music was so loud we couldn’t stay. Otherwise everything was AMAZING!!!!

Overall the hotel was really nice, very clean and pet friendly. I think they need to work on the food service, the restaurant and the lounge specially for the cost. I wasn't very happy paying $48 x night to park my car while I'm staying in the hotel.

I liked that they had chairs and items for the beach. I really liked the modern look and feel. Very comfortable beds.The snack/coffee shop was convenient and easy. $5 for a candy bar was insane and $50/day for parking was too steep!
