The hotel was very nice. Unfortunately the stay was tainted by the front desk charging my credit card upon check out, even though I had prepaid in full. For a hotel of this level of supposed standards, I would expect a better level of training / customer experience than this for the price.

We enjoyed our stay but the “courtyard view” was a view of a solid blank exterior wall and roof top equipment. The room was also near the elevators. Not ideal…

500 pound deposit for a prepaid room is way too high- mini bar is like a shop and is not needed Staff did not help much and for staying over Christmas, new years and our honeymoon nothing much was done from the hotel to us Our room also spelt like smoke a few nights

Really lovely hotel, very comfy bed and nice bars/restaurants. Rooms styled really nicely and steam shower was great. Only negatives were that the toilet did not have a door or screen and the bathroom door doesn't lock so no privacy. Also the courtyard view ooks out onto the roof which is fine except it's covered in AstroTurf. Not very environmentally friendly - a living roof would be much more pleasant but just a small thing. Overall definitely recommend staying here

Check-in not available at specified time. Pool and rooftop shut for private event during stay which we weren’t advised of previously. Thumping music throughout whole day of event. Couldn’t rest. Staff inattentive to another guest in need of ambulance assistance in lobby during stay. Couldn’t arrange taxi transport on checkout. Spacious room but steam shower didn’t work. Overall lacklustre display for an expensive highly rated hotel. Stay at your own risk.

I will definitely stay here again, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Great property to walk and explore as well as close to many food options. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because there is no area on the rooftop to just sit and relax as a guest. You must either be in swimwear or deal with the not so nice rooftop restaurant staff who won’t let you just sit and enjoy the view.

Really nice place. Amazing rooms and bar. Just had one really rude member of staff at Laurels which put a damper on the stay. Really rude, no smiles, no manners. Awful. Rest of the staff were fine though.

Nearly perfect! I loved this property and all its amenities. It’s quite unassuming and has lots to offer and quite convenient to everything. The only ask… you NEED more hooks in the bathroom. One towel hook doesn’t cut it if there is more than one person staying in the room. Small detail, but necessary. Otherwise, I’ll be back!

Overall this is a nice hotel. The on-site restaurant is ok. The room was a decent size. I wish the handheld in the bathroom was higher. I found it a little challenging to put orders at the bar and restaurant on my room bill. I felt like they were suspicious about whether or not I was staying in the hotel - this happened in the restaurant especially. I also came back to my room and found a cord that I had not asked for in my room. Not sure if I would stay here again. The access to the club next door is nice.

One suggestion is more hooks in the bathroom for towels, so they can dry and don’t need to be rewarded daily. Other than that, wonderful experience!

Don’t come expecting a five star hotel service or food. Some of the staff on the roof are pretty rude, others are obviously trying but we still had to ask multiple times for service, items were added to the bills that weren’t ours, some food so salted it was inedible, eggs at brunch were raw. Asked for an invoice including room charges and food and drinks for the whole stay and was told I was asking to “make magic”. But overall value for money in London not bad.

Beautiful hotel can get busy in the evenings. Steam shower didnt work in my room which was a shame. Also guests do like to slam the doors at all hours which is a little annoying. One lift didnt want to take me to my floor. Otherwise fab time I will go back soon

The hotel is nice, a 8 min walk from the subway station. Nice decor andvthe rooms are modern and well kept. They are quite small though. I thought it would be noisy (the area is lively at night) but we had a room facing the interior of the building and that was perfect for sleeping. The steam shower was really nice. Overall good stay, but i was expecting a bigger room given the price.

Simply style over substance. Room was comfortable but not outstanding. Quirky art and industrial-chic decor is fine, but rather impersonal in my view. Thought it was very NYC, which isn’t a great compliment. Ps It’s never great at check-in to see a Post-It on the desk reminding reception staff to “upsell all new arrivals”!! Otherwise it’s a reasonable enough place to stay, especially if you’re too intoxicated to walk far from Hoxton Sq. But for the price? Nah. Almost everyone could fare better.

The Mondrian Shoreditch was perfect for our London visit. It was convenient for us to visit our children, and it was an easy walk to and from Liverpool station so we had public transport to every destination during our trip. The hotel itself is lovely, from our well-appointed and comfortable room to the rooftop restaurant and pool to the main level bar. The service was excellent in all aspects. We will be back!

Hotel is very clean and well decored. Loved the steam room in the bathroom shower. The location is great with plenty of restaurants within short walking distance. Unfortunately, the service in the top floor restaurant has let the hotel down. Was not allowed to take in the glass of wine which I had just bought from the hotel bar and they pretty much made me drink it all before I walked in. Secondly, I was not allowed to use my laptop in the restaurant. This was lunchtime during a working week and people do have work to do, some people might want to have a business meeting in a restaurant with the need of using a laptop while waiting for the food. To top it of although the waiter said that they have a strict rule against it, one of the staff members (probably the manager) was using his laptop on one of the restaurant tables. Which is really odd considering you are not allowing your paying customers to do so. Food in the restaurant was just ok, nothing special really, it lacked flavour unfortunately.

Ladies at reception were amazing and gave me an upgrade. Hotel is amazing and will stay again. Only thing is the room service took a long time and was cold and the inhouse phone service was not working.
