About this house rental

Located in Lake City, this lovely house for $130 per night is a great option for your next break. Lovely retreat in a quiet neighborhood in NE Seattle (just north of Maple Leaf). Near bus lines and a 5 minute drive from I-5 for easy access, 1.1 miles from the light rail station. Lots of trees, 2 blocks from Thornton Creek, and lovely Victory Heights Park 1 block away, which hosts a "Food Truck Friday" event every week from 5-8pm, between June and September. Our park also provides areas to picnic, a newly updated children's playground, and a tennis court. Excellent for business travelers, University of Washington employees, and families! Private entrance, private courtyard with a grill and 4 seat patio dining set with umbrella, and a propane fire pit for outdoor relaxing, during non-rainy season. The apartment is 900 sf of newly remodeled space! We love our apartment and hope you will too! Eco friendly, sustainable and non-toxic finishes - Natural cork and Marmoleum flooring, no VOC paints, allergen friendly finishes and furniture is all wood. Washer and dryer, large walk in shower, and full size stove for cooking. Queen size bed features a natural latex mattress. Large closet space has lots of shelving for your items to be stored. Two floor mattresses in Twin size (38" x 75"x 4")for use for kids. We use organic cotton sheets and, 100% cotton towels, washed with scent free 7th generation soap and no fabric softener. Bedroom has a TV as well, and has a sound machine for your use if desired. Air Purifier by Air Doctor in-unit for your use, high end medical grade air purifier. Unit has blackout shades throughout. Kitchen has Britta water filter in fridge. Electric heaters in living, dining, bedroom and bathroom. Fireplace is non functional. Unit stays very cool on its own, but we provide 2 fans in the unit. More fans available if needed. Bathroom is large and hosts a walk-in shower. We provide a portable shower seat that is available in the bedroom closet for your use, and a removable shower grab bar stored in the bathroom cabinet. The bathroom hosts the new stackable washer and dryer, with 7th generation brand scent free laundry pods available for your use. ** We understand that T-mobile users are not getting good reception in our home. Please know this when you book if it is a problem for you.

We were in town for Husky football, and this worked great for us. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to many things. My husband uses a walker and the owners were very responsive to our needs. Will be back again!

The home was beautifully put together, great location and the owners so thoughtful and helpful with everything! Loved that it was within walking distance to a little park with a tennis court! Much Mahalos for a lovely stay!

The apartment was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! The hosts took the time and attention to the small details to make guests more comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked to be able to cook in! The host also went out of her way to give us flowers and a treat for our one year anniversary! I hope to book again here soon!

Such a quiet residential neighborhood, about half an hour walk to the train station and then easy to commute around the city. The unit is exactly like the pictures, spacious for a small family with the twin sized matts good for my two teenagers. The larger closet was perfect for storing suitcases.

It is advertised as sleeping 4, but it has one queen bed and 2 folding covered foam pads to put on the floor. This would be fine for parents with 2 kids or 4 college students, but for us (an elderly couple with an adult daughter) it was not the most comfortable arrangement. The kitchen was well equipped with a full stove and fridge, microwave, coffee pot and cute little toaster oven. However there was very little counter space. We like iced drinks, so would have appreciated ice trays in the freezer. A large bathroom had a roomy shower with lots of hot water, but no secure grab bar, which was a safety issue for us older folks. Also, more towel bars and hooks are desperately needed in the bathroom. In general, more raised surfaces are needed so you didn't need to have your suitcases on the floor and bend over so much. Again, younger guests would find it more comfortable than we did. There were a couple of issues, but the very friendly hosts immediately fixed them when contacted. We had the impression this was a newly fixed up unit, so with feedback we expect the hosts will add improvements.

I have mobility problems and this unit was excellent for my husband and me. We were comfortable and warm while Seattle suffered through ice storms and snow and rain. Communication with the host was wonderful!

This is a nice little place with everything you need. Very clean and pleasant. The neighborhood is green, quiet and lovely. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer my communications with them: we had a power outage (no fault of theirs) because of a snowstorm and they kept in touch throughout and refunded me for the day I had no power.
