Really scenic view from our bedroom, very quiet with easy parking.
Food in the restaurant was really good, staff were lovely & accommodating.

The hotel is in a quite remote village and there is an interesting drive there (pay attention to the indication of the bus schedule, so you don't face an unpleasant situation if crossing the bus on a narrow road). The hotel is basic, but clean and our room gave on a small waterfall, which was quite noisy - but once the window closed, we didn't hear anything, so that was really great. You clearly see it's a family run hotel and Rudi (the owner) and his wife are working hard. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant as well - the food was super good and Rudi was really paying attention to our needs. There were many people in the restaurant - not only guests of the hotel, so we believe the place is know for its qualities. The hotel breakfast was really decent - not an extremely huge choice (which is only logical) - but there was a bit of everything: bread and charcuterie/cheese/sweet things; freshly baked croissants, yoghurts, muesli, coffee/tea/hot chocolate... we didn't miss anything and could start the day with all the energy we needed. We had to leave really early in the morning so we paid our bill in the evening. I noticed later the price didn't correspond to the price indicated on Booking - but that was set up straight by Rudi without any problems and with many apologies (we were not angry, it was a mistake and that can happen). We would definitely go back there if again in the corner, we keep good memories of our stay there.

Could you ask for a better view in the morning!? A real slice of Swiss paradise. It felt like we were miles in the countryside but had only travelled a short distance from the main road. The staff were friendly. The restaurant in the evening served tasty food (lots of pork items so if you don't like that maybe eat before you arrive as there are no other options once you're in the small village) Spacious room - felt very 70s with all the wood cladding. But it was clean and comfortable, we liked the balcony and you could hear the rushing stream. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.
Only one niggle and that was the strange glass block wall in the bathroom - what was on the other side of that!? We just left the wooden bathroom door open covering it for peace of mind.

Awesome mountain location, comfy rooms, decent restaraunt and lovely staff.
The road there gets very narrow, not for nervous drivers!
