My cousin and I were visiting Genoa but did not want to stay in the center of the city. This place, a short bus ride from the center of town and a short walk to Boccadasse along the water fit what we wanted to a T. Though we checked ourselves in (more and more the case in Italy), and some of the directions seemed confusing, once we were in, it was a comfortable spot from which to explore all of the wonders of Genoa.
We did get to meet Francesca (the owner) before we left, and she was delightful. It was the wonderful Cassandra who took care of us daily at the B&B bringing an incredible spread of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, focaccia, meats, cereal, etc. for our breakfast. She was friendly and accommodating to our different needs (early breakfast before a cooking class we had signed up for, e.g.)
The parking, once we found it, was easy to navigate. And the rooms, were very comfortable. There were only two that we saw (on our floor), so we had it private to us since we had booked two rooms. We would return in a heartbeat!

I had only one night at Albaro and the room was amazing, I felt like home right away. A few km away from the city but still in the most beautiful area of Genova. Right next to the famous spiagia di Boccadasse.
Franscesca was very welcoming and understanding even though I blocked her safe ;).
Breakfast was more than excepted, 5 star.
Next time I pass by Genova this will be my choice..

Very nice room with a balcony and despite being in the city it had privacy. The breakfast was fantastic!
