The location was perfect for a base to visit the surrounding area including Puy Du Fou. The building is lovely, grounds and view are stunning and the owners friendly. Breakfast was good and beds were really comfortable.
A fan in the room would have been appreciated. The room was cool enough to sleep in the hot weather, but a fan in each room would help to create a breeze. No need for air conditioning.

We needed secure parking and this hotel was able to provide it. We arrived after a 6 hr drive from the docks and there was no evening meal available, no water, TV or , kettle in the room. We were too tired to go back out and try and find an eating facility.
The hotel owner was friendly but never mentioned access to a meal just told us breakfast and hot drinks were available from 8 am.
No food available or water in the room. No lift working to access the bedrooms.
Shower leaked over the bathroom floor and behind the toilet causing a slip hazard. Continental breakfast was available but there was no water in the kettle or coffee machine
Which took a time for us to work out how to fill. The bread and cereals were adequate.
