The location was perfect, a short walk from the centre of the city and almost opposite one of Prato's railway stations, from which there are frequent trains to Florence. We had actually arrived from Florence airport via one stop on the tram (T2) and a bus, as advised by the visitor information desk at the airport, which is also easy. Our host met us in the charming little cafe next door, almost immediately I signalled our arrival, which was half-an-hour earlier than the ETA I had indicated. The flat is spacious and could accommodate two of us in separate bedrooms. Shower gel, shampoo and hand wash are provided and clearly labelled. Being a big, classical building with high ceilings it was cool inside despite some very hot weather.
Nothing really, for our one night it was perfect.
