The beds were super comfortable - the location was great for an overnight trip ti las palmas and getting back to the airport again, the facilities seemed regularly cleaned and the staff were great!
Id have loved some curtains on the bed but i just used my sarong anyway.

Location, in Triana, historical part of Las Palmas.
Dirt and serious cleaning issues. Pest control (!) was being carried out in the next room for several days, and during that time there were pieces of clothing, backpacks, and shoes (!?) lying on the floor in the hallway... Cockroaches running on the walls, dirty plates with food left in the kitchen for two days, crumbs everywhere—that’s how you feed cockroaches!—the dish racks had probably never been washed—they were absolutely disgusting, and there was often ash and leftovers on the table on the terrace...
The quality of cleaning depends heavily on the volunteers; the first few days were terrible, then a new volunteer arrived and things improved a bit. The hostel clearly lacks management that would ensure cleaning standards and volunteer discipline. Unfortunately, I don’t understand how it can have a rating over 8.
