Nestled in Narragansett Beach, this charming cottage for $167 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This 1940's farm cottage sits surrounded by open space. The area is in the Saugatucket River valley, in a little known hamlet called Mooresfield. This home is a rustic mini-working farm, and is home to a horse that was born in the wilds of Nevada. There are many gardens and outdoor spaces here to enjoy peacefully after a long day of adventure. Central South County location. Close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, rail, URI, and all points north and south. Newport is a scenic 20 minutes away. The house sits back and up from the road, and there is plenty of off street parking. The country road is sometimes busy, but that also means that it is an easy commute to anywhere you might go. A car would be needed to get around due to the rural nature of the property, but most destinations are only a 5 to 20 minute car ride away. Uber is a popular alternative to having a vehicle. 6 minutes to Rt 1 N&S. 5 minutes to the business district of Wakefield. You can stock up and never go shopping, or "run into town" for a last minute item. Golf courses, Great Restaurants, URI Campus, NOAA and Grad School of Oceanography, Beaches, Museums, the Block Island Ferry, the City of Newport and Historical Landmarks are all within a 15 mile radius.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Great location away from the crowds but with easy access to all our favorite sites. Victoria's property is beautiful and we loved looking out in the morning and seeing her horse there. We will be happy to return to her place again next year!

Victoria is a wonderful host who takes every detail into account. The little farmhouse has a comfy bed, great showers (indoor or out!), cozy linens, and all the amenities you could need. We enjoyed our time relaxing in the calm, welcoming environment of the cottage and grounds as much as we did exploring the stunning coastlines and Block Island nearby. The cottage is a perfect home base from which to do so. We recommend it highly!

Such a wonderful serene location! The property was beautiful with plentiful gardens and wildlife and the owner's gorgeous horse. The cottage itself was adorable with great outdoor spaces. Indoors was nicely decorated and well appointed. Super comfy bed and great shower for relaxing after a long day out & about at the Newport Folk Festival. Victoria was wonderful; friendly, helpful and very personable.

Very nice cottage. Away from busy areas but quick trip to beaches and shopping. Comfortable bed with plenty of linens. Large bathroom with nice shower. Owner friendly and nearby but not intrusive. Overall great spot for a quiet getaway.

The property owner is such a sweet soul! During my stay, Vicky and I had a few chats and it was nothing but wonderful! The property is gorgeous and pleasant. The house is absolutely adorable and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
