Jack and Iris are amazing hosts. Every comfort was considered. Shuttle service into town. Beautiful rooms. Great whiskey bar and cinema room. This was the best pace I’ve ever stayed on a road trip!!

Jack and Iris are the most wonderful couple, and staying at their beautiful guesthouse was an absolute highlight of our trip to Scotland. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, looked after and completely at home. They are such lovely, warm and thoughtful hosts, always available, incredibly helpful, and full of great recommendations, whether you’re looking for the best whisky to try or the most beautiful places to visit. They even kindly gave us a lift into town when we needed one. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with wonderfully spacious and comfortable beds. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel at home. It’s the perfect cosy little haven, a place where you feel truly pampered and can simply relax and enjoy yourself. And then there’s the breakfast… absolutely incredible! Iris’s scrambled eggs are a real hidden treasure – honestly, a highlight in their own right! And the pancakes are just as delicious. We looked forward to breakfast every morning! The bar is beautifully decorated, with so much character, and the lounge is the perfect place to unwind. We had such a lovely evening sitting by the fire, enjoying great conversations with Jack and Iris. They are wonderful company, and sharing stories and chatting with them made our stay even more special. We chose this beautiful place to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and Jack and Iris made the occasion truly unforgettable. Their thoughtful little touches and delicate attentions genuinely touched us and made us feel so special. We will always remember their kindness and the care they put into making our anniversary wonderful. Thank you, Jack and Iris, for making our stay so special. We will return without a second thought! Your guesthouse has officially become one of our absolute must-visit places in Scotland.
