The vibe of "hidden gem" was exceptionally rewarding. It felt like I had found a little fairy lodge hidden amongst the most unlikely of places. After a long day of travel it was just what I needed.

Finding the location was very challenging until I dug into the reservation information to find out what I was missing. It did not help that I was there on a trash day so parking was scarce anywhere near the hotel and the neighborhood did not feel very safe with my car parked on the street.
