A word about our cleaning protocols….We have a larger family that stays in multiple vacation rentals a year. We know, firsthand, how the cleanliness of a rental can make or break your vacation. Unlike most vacation rentals, we wash/change-out all duvet covers, extra blankets, living room throw blankets, and living room throw pillow covers between every guest, in addition to all the typical bed sheets and pillowcases. Our cleaning process is extremely extensive because we know that your relaxation and enjoyment depends on it. Years ago, on our first trip to Kangaroo Lake, someone shared their home with us. We recommend vigorously toweling off or showering after swimming. Water depth: 4-5 ft at end of dock – No diving or jumping from pier allowed. Public, sandy swimming areas: 0.7 miles away (west shore of Kangaroo Lake on Kangaroo Beach Road) and 2.5 miles away (Anclam Swimming Beach on Lake Michigan) Kangaroo Lake Public Boat Launch is located 2.8 miles away along the east shore of Kangaroo Lake on 7563 S Kangaroo Lake Drive OTHER AMMENITIES: Bed linens, pillows, blankets, bath towels, kitchen towels, beach towels, and hair dryers are provided. We supply paper products including two rolls of paper towels for the kitchen and six rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also supply hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and garbage bags. We supply one small, travel-size shampoo, conditioner and body wash per full bathroom. We recommend that you bring shower essentials for stays longer than two nights. Iron & Ironing Board Pack n Play (2 fitted sheets available) and classic highchair. *Due to health and safety guidelines all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, aluminum foil, baggies, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc. Due to Wisconsin health and safety regulations, we do not supply these items.
