We arrived at the Tree of Life after a long flight from the UK, and it was exactly what we needed. Despite arriving quite early, our room was ready and gave us the chance to get some rest.
Our boys loved the pool and they had it all to themselves all afternoon.
The food was also fantastic…lunch was our first introduction to Sri Lankan food and it did not disappoint. Breakfast was also one of the best, with tasty local options available as well as waffles and pancakes for the kids.
Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

There is a complimentary tuk tuk to the beach and their sister restaurant the white tree . That’s one of the best restaurants I have eaten at during our three week tour of Sri Lanka
The staff at the hotel and restaurant are excellent
The pool is super clean and fresh
There are 6 ‘chalets ‘ like mini villas
Cannot fault
There’s a dogs rescue centre near by to called Dog passion please support they do amazingly to help the dogs of Sri Lanka
